Why do most Mexicans join the Marine Corps. Why is that? I'm thinking about enlisting and the only branch that interests me is the Marines. Actually it is true. When I was at Ft.Hood they took a F.I.S.T. unit to work side by side with border patrol officers and there were several Mexicans in that unit. They said they watched illegals cross the border at night using NVGs.

Ummm, chumpy, neither the Greeks nor the Romans are white. They are Latin, by their very definition. And there were no slaves in the feudal system, instead we had indentured servants.

Obviously you've never been to Italy. "Latin" in the American conception of the word describes mixed-herritage Amerindian/Spaniard peoples from the Americas and has no resonance in Europe, period. The Italians are as ethnically European as can be, being classified in the Romantic language group (not "Latin"), along linguistic lines alone, not because of skin colour.
Also, the Greeks never spoke Latin, they spoke Greek. Do yourself a favour and open a book. Ignorance is nothing to be proud of.

Sorry, your idiocy got me rattled a bit, true, the Greeks did speak Greek, sorry for the mistake. But it doesnt change the fact that slavery wasnt around in Europe until after contact with the middle east, and Africa. Fact is, the Greeks and Romans ARE NOT WESTERN EUROPEAN. They are closer to the mediterranean people than they are "Whites".

right, by that logic, a pit bull and a chihuahua are the exact same dog, but they arent are they? sure they are both canines, but they are not the same breed. Fact is, we are all different, and thats a good thing, I dont wanna be just like blacks, latinos, arabs etc... and I do not want them to be just like me. But to say that we are all the same is a lie, we are different, and we should be honest about it.

Actually it is true. When I was at Ft.Hood they took a F.I.S.T. unit to work side by side with border patrol officers and there were several Mexicans in that unit. They said they watched illegals cross the border at night using NVGs.
