Sorry to say but that is NOT a Z06 vette, it's clearly a base vette and I wouldn't doubt it being stock either. A base vette's rear windshield slopes to the rear of the car, a Z06 however drops right down after the roof line. A stock z06 would blow this neon away, and a nicely modded LS1 vette would do that as well. Pause the video at 2:36 an you'll see what I'm talking about

@tikitxiki it does matter. i wouldnt doubt it if that corvette is stock and the srt4 has full bolt ons or a bigger turbo. a stock vette will beat a stock srt4. thats not really something i would be ashamed of if i was the vette driver, losing to a modified car while hes stock. dump that same amount of money into the vette that the srt4 has and lets see who comes out winning. so no props to the little 4 banger from dodge (or any dodge for that matter). my 240 can beat a stock vette too big deal

@JustMeDustin the car is more of a PT cruiser then a neon, all suspension is pt cruiser based. and the engine is a 2.4L pt cruiser block with a different intake manifold so actually there isnt really anything on it neon related other than the badged

Very well done video, and still doesn't do the NSRT-4 the justice it deserves. As an SS/TC owner I was absolutely in love with this car piror to purchasing, and still am to this day. I fully intend to pick one up used one of these days, pull it in my garage and do whatever work is necessary to preserve it (alongside my SS/TC) for years to come. Dodge/Mopar never received the credit they deserved for this 2.4L and the community stood behind them 100% :). You had to ride/drive one to understand.

Mazdaspeed3 and 6 suck ass. Power to weight ratio sends the car to hell. 260hp doesnt mean shit if your car weighs as much as a fire truck. I have friends that own them and I take them in my srt 4 that pushes 245-250 to the wheels they've tried dozens of times and I've even given them head starts.

the acceleration leaves some to be desired but with almost 400 lbs of torque its not badd its just the fwd thats the problem. i only meant acceleration off the line from a dig.

@jon5mil Err, it's actually the opposite. The low end and mid range is great on the dodge, but the top end sucks.

@ambientflier Well if you get a 50 trim turbo in it, the top end kills. The stocker isn't great at top end obviously, but acceleration isn't bad. Very very low spool time on the mopar stages and probably the best thing about the Mopar stage 3. Zero spool time!

well prick jr lol cool name, you have no idea what your getting into, driving is a task on its own but then add tough suspension turbo and a light rear end, your begging to crash unless you know what your doing, i've the 02 ws6 02 wrx 05 07 sti and a 04 acr srt4, and the srt4 is ya way fast for what it is but dont expect alot in a curvy canyon, o ya one more thing lol :-)

With due respect, the MS6 isn't meant for racing. It weighs more than the srt4 and even it's 0-60 will attest to that(6.2secs). The MS3 is right there with the srt4 stock, but easily gets outclassed with afew upgrades on the srt4. I do like the MS3 tho, it's classy and fun.
