I hate takeoff out of Denver. The sir is thinner because of the elevation to the have to take off faster and go steeper. Depending on the runway, if your heading east, the plane will make a sharp turn. Makes me cringe everytime.
wait, what's this about going faster and steeper and turning? I'm going to be flying in from Arkansas, and that's fine and all, but when we take off, I know it takes longer to get airborne bc of the thin air, but why faster, steeper, and the steep turn?
Geez, I would have loved to have been on that take off- Nice and smooth, you could see forever around you. Were you heading west? I heard you have to fly over wyoming if you do. Took a little less time than I expected to get off the ground.

The main parking garage and control tower are still there, as is the UAL Flight Training Center. All else is houses and shopping centers.

I drie by the old Stapleton airport everyday; it's basically a lot and a pick-up route for the buses for DIA

I think its JetBlue because I took United to Denver last year- maybe they changed the color patterns? I don't know, you may be right.
