  • this trailer makes me want to kill myself...

  • The video starts off in the right direction but leaves the viewer wanting more. The plot leans a little towards graffiti as an art (since the director is a former "artist") but fails to dig deep into the other issues that accompany vandalism like gangs, property devaluation, hardcore drugs and violence (Yes, people have been killed over it). So, to Max and Nathan, I hope you see the bigger picture for for your next movie. Silver Buff and Grey Ghost are lame leading characters.

  • Graffiti is an expression it's freedom of speech, not destroying anything I would love that to be all over my small business if I owned one, it's awesome, the people that destroy it are the vandals, these people need to figure that out.

  • @BMXaniac888 You seem to forget that most Graffiti artist do it for the rush. They do it illegally because they like the chance that they could get in trouble or arrested. Graffiti isn't graffiti if a person gives consent for it to happen to their property. Graffiti is the act of illegally, and without permission, painting on a surface that does not belong to the artist. It's not right. I love graffiti, it's beautiful and expressive, but it's done without permission of the owner almost always.

  • @apocaRUFF

There is also another rush, putting vandals on the ground and cuffing them. And if they do it again, there is a rush in watching them cry like little girls when they find out they are going to jail, with huge fines and having their mothers show up in court to beg for their freedom. Just ask Tim Tucker and Sean Clymer for their Pizza Orgasmica "art" in San Rafael CA.

  • @apocaRUFF You don't know shit about bombin'. STRAIGHT. THE. FUCK. UP.

  • @evilthecat13 Suck my cock :) That's about all the good an idiot such as yourself is worth.

  • @BMXaniac888

    Agreed.

  • @BMXaniac888 It depends. What if someone would do it on your car? Would you like it? If not, then YOU are a hypocrite! Well, its "art", right!? But what is "art" by the way? Today, brainless people call it "art" if someone takes a shit on the street, takes a photo of it and sells it in the next art gallery, right? You can express yourself, but please do it in your own room or on some public places (public walls etc.) but not on someones private property please!!

  • @diewahrheitistnochda Read what I wrote I never said my car read what it says. If you want to know the meaning of art draw a picture landscape art is what is in your heART.

  • @BMXaniac888 I know exactly what you wrote. Dont worry. Im going just one step futher. Because there is NO difference between a private wall of a house or a private dor of a car. You can draw or do graffiti as much as you want, but please dont validate someones private place by your "art", or whatever comes out of your heart. Most of it isnt even art, just rebellion and anger. So therefore you are a hypocrite if you wouldnt allow me to spraypaint your car also and not just your companywall.

  • @BMXaniac888 how about if youd rather not have that kinda shit everywhere...

  • @BMXaniac888 I sort of agree with you. If I owned a small business like a small food mart or something, I wouldn't mind stuff like the "READ" sign at 1:22 or what was behind the guy at 1:12 . But any sort of hideous chicken scratch lookin shit will be immediately covered up. Unless it said something nice. XD

My point is, Graffiti is not something that should be looked upon in terms of black or white when it comes to the law.

  • Where can i watch this at??

  • Does anyone know the techno song that in different parts of this video? Many thanks!

  • @Joshzphoto type in /watch?v=2OxWD85Ngz4

  • It's apparent there are some people here who don't understand graffiti or the unwritten rules of the game. Real graffiti artists don't hit occupied buildings or businesses. They attack blight. Anyone who thinks it's all about gang life and destyroying a community has no idea what it can do to change the climate of a community. As soon as my previous generation stops fucking up my future with no jobs and cutting arts programs then I'll care about their opinion.

  • @blankkhaos

You sound like a Gen Y guy. Yes, some is art, but the blame should be placed on all the toys that call their little scribbles "art". They are the ones giving street art/graffiti a bad name, like "vandalism". Please define you term "real graffiti artist". Really, what is it? I don't believe everyone shares a common definition. I'll turn it around for argument's sake: do you know that dollars are being redirected from schools and art programs to abate graffiti. Blame the toys!

  • @graffitivigilante That's what I was referring to. The toys don't understand the importance of not bringing unwanted attention to this art form. When I say real graffiti artist, I am referring to those that understand what should and shouldn't be hit. Also it's those that are producing pieces and not scribbling all over everything they can find. Finally, depending on state depends on where the funds for cleaning graffiti comes from.

  • You can invade countries and fly to the moon, but you will never end graffiti art. It is a part of our culture. And it's here to stay. Vandalism is defacing someone else's property without permission. Vandals do crime at their own risk, and are responsible when caught. Never confuse the two. Graff, like everything under the sun, has two sides. Do not confuse them. Breaking a neighbor's window=vandalism. Keying someone's car=vandalism. Doing a mural with permission is not a crime.

  • @benfrankart

Agreed. What about etching some store's windows with a mural? Vandalism or art? Or, scribbling the word "dick" and "fuck" on an elementary school? Art or vandalism? Tagging your neighborhood with X13 gang tags?

  • Vandalism is illegal. Not graffiti. There is a difference. Graffiti is an artistic term. Vandalism is a legal one. As soon as people realize this, the conversation will become constructive. i have actively participated in meetings where on one side are the property owners and the other side artists. In the middle was a federal mediator. By the end of the day we all respected private property, while demanding more programs and spaces for youth expression. Pretty simple & boring stuff.

  • Bump FunkAndJazz!

  • If you want to make street art buy a wall or get permission. Otherwise put the spray can away and leave other people's property alone. Stop vandalism of other people's property.

  • @MikeDLA

It's so cute that you have the solution :3

The corporations and their advertisments can go fuck themselves, and if I see someone covering THAT up it only makes me happy.

  • @MikeDLA they dont do it on peoples property no one owns a traffic light or a road sign or a random wall under a bridge thats called public property

  • @ThePenguinsBollox Who do you think pays for public property? We all do and we then again have to pay to have it cleaned or fixed. I don't mind graffiti in general, but when it enters into gang issues and other indecent/negative I draw the line.

  • somebody who who finds it acceptable and finds pleasure in destroying street artwork is the kind of asshole who stepped on peoples sandcastles as a little kid

  • This guy is the biggest dick in the world.

  • there's a distinction to make between graffiti paintings and gang messenging crap. I seems this blank-over vigilante painter is incapable of seeing the difference, like the taggers that often tag over a graffiti art work.

  • Looks awesome!

  • so yeah, whats the music?

  • Crime? The government is the biggest crime.

  • This is so childish.

  • @johndoe7033 What exactly is childish, and what makes you say that?

  • @jeremykoerber It's childish because i know it is. I was a graff head myself at one point.

  • Flavor Flav age is 52 years . Chuck D age is 51 years . Grandmaster Flash- 53 . This is not about age , guys !

  • name of the starting song of this video ?

  • L-O-L !!!

  • the complaints I hear about the removers is the same I hear from the artists. Point blank, if you think you can go around spamming the public with your logo, then people have the right to remove that logo. The same with advertisement.

  • Oh my god.. poor stupids they just need to get a life, or get layd asap.. fucking retards

  • As much as I think graffiti is just a fucking eye-sore, these guys are just idiots. They're going to end up dead if they keep up with their shit because there's a bunch of bigger idiots out there who take this shit very seriously.

  • looks kinda nice. like the moral struggle there, will probably check it out some time

  • Shut the fuck up and listen this: GRAFFITI RULES!

  • @TheAlExAnDrOobest

By the read of your eloquent post, you seem to have elevated the argument that graffiti is a higher art form based on the theme that graffiti, as a means of artistic communication, spans history back to the Greeks. Too bad this argument is lost on your lack of command of the English language. I hope you don't speak on behalf of the other street artists.;0

  • In my personal opinion, I believe in artistic expression over commercial advertisement, but if you have the audacity to go to go out tagging, slapping up stickers, or spray painting entire pieces, at least make it appealing to the eye, don't simply make it an eyesore.

  • @totesmagotes007 whats 'appealing' to you is not whats going to appeal to everyone.

  • K1ll the vigilante!

  • @gaspachor

Another intelligent post by someone who has keyboard courage from behind a computer. Step onto the street, hold a can on the wall, spray, and let's see what happens.

  • This doc looks great !

Random question does any one know the name of the track playing at the start ?

  • I'm on the graffiti side, wait whichh side is that?
