There is a trick to winning, The most I won was $48.75, I had my both front and back pockets full of quarters, Easy way to win, first look at the quarters inside the machine, if you see a bunch that's barely hanging off the edge then you do step number 2, go get $5.00 worth of quarters, Then instead of putting 1 at a time inside the machine and get nowhere, put 2 but no more then 3 at a time. The secret is to buy a ton of Panama coins, they are the size of a quarter but you can buy them for a nickel each at coin shops. Even then, I still came out roughly even after playing 3 hours straight. This game is a scam.

holy christ, l tried shaking a quarter machine & it went crazy!! l shook it once & the machine's alarm went off. lt was so loud & the lights went off & everything. l just walked away. l was eating dinner w/ my parents so they didn't want 2 leave so l stayed 2 c what wud happen. The trick is to put as many coins in as you can get in one turn. Do for about three turns, alternating the pattern of where you put the last set, and there you go. Avoid the side with the heavy objects, unless they are half a coins length from the edge.

Also if you are at a normal sized arcade place and they have 4 arcade machines all connected in a square kind of configuration look in the middle of them in the empty space if you can. alot of arcades keep their claw machine prizes to fill the machine back up with in that space since it takes up too much room in the back.

seriously these things are easy, to win at(legit).You press the hold/stall button right when the top shelf is headed out. then you drop a dollar or dollar fifty all across the top. Then release the button, letting all 4 or 6 quarters slide down making a new wall. once the two collide, it pushes off a big group of quarters down to the bottom level, in which you know the rest. Chain reaction, coins fall to you, even the dollar bills. I should know I have one in my c-store that I manage.
