  • 5 stars.

I agree with vitalyb about the kid voice,

    but otherwise just excellent.

    Important message, too.

I'm definitely going to do a cover.

  • I Love This Clip, The Emotions are true.

    Great Job

    Great Song

    Thank You

  • Thanks!

  • Pretty good. Likes your expressions except the beginning (the kid singing). I guess it is just too weird/creepy to see an adult doing a kid voice. Voted 4.

  • LOL! Thank you!

  • I remember lipsyncing to this song in front of my bedroom mirror when I was about fifteen. My expressions and gestures were very much the same. I'm now thirty and the song still makes me well up with emotion.

Too bad most of XTC's other stuff was mindless pop though.

  • Awesome video Hagrid :)

    Love the song too!

  • Thanks!

  • I am so glad I found this! Hillarious.

I love how you respond to people. Without arguing. Keep up the good work and I hope to hear/see more.

  • Thanks!

  • Serious XTC fan here. I really dug this! Its interesting to see the emotion of this song relfected so well in someone's expressions. It was truly heartfelt. Bravo. YOU should try acting.

  • Thanks!

  • Howz Dumbledore?

  • Dead.

  • Oh mercy, this is hilarious! I didn't think it was possible to take such a deep and serious song, a masterpiece, and make it funny. Nice job.

  • Thanks!

  • Where has the XTC Dear God video posting gone?

Beardy Weirdy adds nothing to the song, but at least the song's available.

  • Bless your heart.

  • I just wanted to hear the song. Cut the video. Just audio.

  • Who wee-weed in your Cheerios this morning?

  • P.S. one advantage of Atheism is alot less religious disagreements

  • You did a great job, great message in the song. I think you really fit the emotions well. ppl doubt god because they think they are smarter than others and have life figured out. I do believe and if ppl dont thats cool to, its important to me not others. One thing that really bugs me is, when ppl ask why bad happens and such, thats stupid. 1st of all we need bad to appreciate good, 2nd it is gods way of letting us know when we are doing wrong, and everything happens for a reason.

  • Hey, Another Pagan who's emotional fuckedupedness can't just let the God thing go. Hmmmmm.... I wonder why? I hope you get better. Come on give us that big happy Pagan I dont believe in God smile. I mean just to represent the so called freedom that you have to war with inside yourself to create!!

  • Wow, you're a really hostile person, aren't you?

  • I just love it when people are hostile with a smile. If your gonna screw someone please do it with a smile.. right. At least they'll all like you more while you take them down. Sorry I am not a politician.

  • Also, as why use this outrage of the firstborns of egyptions to prove some point. Why would you use a pharoah who was a person who claimed himself as god( historically documented) and also enslaved a whole race of children with there parents to serve a Kingdom that was already flourishing for hundreds of years. He was given the opportunity to let them go and did not. He was told if you do not free these innocent people than this will happen.

  • Oh, so those innocent children deserved to die because of the misdeeds of Pharoah? Man, what an evil, malicious god Yahweh is. Let me emphasize that: YOUR GOD IS EVIL.

  • Pagans tend to believe in god, or gods. Your equation of Pagans = Godless is incorrect.

  • I come out of a Catolic/Neo-Pagan background. I have great respect for many Pagan beliefs, though I don't necessarily share them anymore. I'm pretty agnostic on the question of Pagan gods, just as I am truly agnostic on the subject of YHVH. I tend to see deities like archetypes, as ways of interfacing with the Universe, not actual discreet entitites.

  • Great job bro.. Only heard the original of this song a few hours ago. It perfectly conveys the 'Angry Atheist' phase many of us go thru. 'If I did believe in God, I'd have to hate the bassard' ;) I wish I heard it when it 1st came out.

  • Thanks! This was actually a throwback to an earlier stage of my life, when I was going through the 'Angry Atheist' phase. The Blasphemy Challenge and the recent movement of the "New Atheists" inspired me to reach back and find those angry, hurt and betrayed feelings, which I was able to express in the video. Keep the lack of faith, bro! - Hagrid

  • you are an awesome, awesome man. 5'd.

  • Id just like to say weldone, your lip singing was very accurate and you could tell that you strongly believe in what XTC are conveying.

  • Thanks! I've never done a lipsync before; I guess you could just say that "the spirit moved me!" *grin*

  • Dear Hagrid, after I watched your other video I wondered if you had ever heard this song...so apparently you have...great song, great band....

  • Yup, sure did. I hadn't thought about this song since graduated from High School 20 years ago... then someone used it as an intro on The Blasphemy challenge, and I went looking for it.

  • awesome! always good to find others who have realized the truth.

  • Thanks!

  • Thanks. I sincerely hope you will come tou your senses and reach the age of reason and realize god is a fairy tale.
