  • Cool video and very nice motorcycle. This is a good reminder of why I love Cape Breton so much. I just ordered a new F800GS last week and plan on putting a lot of miles on it in CB. If your down this way again sometime and want someone to ride with drop me line. I have a couple of GoPros as well so we could get some really cool videos of our bikes in action.

  • Looks like a great road trip. Great video, beautiful place. Where did mount your cam?

  • @JamesReadythe5th The camera was mounted on my helmet. If you look closely at my shadow in certain parts you can see it... looked rather funny to those as I drove by.

  • Holy crap dude this is the best east coast video I have ever seen . Great editing too :-)

I rode from north bay Ontario to gaspe and back in 2011 .... I did 3100km in just over 3 days .

Videos on my channel if u care to take a peek .... I just favorited this video .

    Once again THANK YOU

  • @rex4x4 Thanks for the props!

  • Great Video! I was there in 1999. It looks like the dirt road is in a better shape now. Going back with the whole Family this summer!!! Can't wait!

  • Great Video!!!! Im doing this from Toronto this summer 2012!!!!

  • @TIBURONVTX happy you liked the video. Have a great trip! Message me if you get some video up of your trip.

  • Awesome!!! I can't wait to get my bike there. I've car'd it a few times and rode my bicycle up from Cheticamp. Always love to see the Cabot Trail again.

  • @luthergeddy Glad you liked the video. It is simply amazing by bike and I would do it over and over if I could. Very jealous of those who live there.

  • Thanks a lot for this great video. You changed my plan for future and I will think to live those wheres. Best wishes from an author who lives in Turkey, Ankara...

  • Hi..good video but I was waiting to see the switchback curve on the way to Meat Cove's camping area...either coming or going but you didn't show it....too bad.....it sure would have been something to see on video.....otherwise...very entertaining video.

  • sweet vid dude! glad you enjoyed yourself! how long approximately did it take you to get to meat cove once you hit the dirt road?

  • @mikegkeating The dirt road was only about a 20 min or so. Not a long way but was very steep / windy in some spots. A lot of fun.

  • @ibothwell thanks for the feedback! i'll be up this summer.

  • Planning a trip next year Leaving from Boston I was told how spectacular the trail was that were gonna do it by Harley's any advice on where to stay as we will be bringing mobile home thanks for a look at such a beautiful scenery

  • i was born and raised in cape breton island, and this is by far the best video ive seen on youtube. when im telling my friends from around the world about this beautiful island, i will be directing them to this video. great job !!

  • @mrged420 Thanks for the props. Always flattering to hear great feedback!

  • As a B&B owner on the Cabot Trail I think this is a great addition to information about the Cabot Trail and hopefully the great shots of the scenery will encourage more people to come and discover the trail. Thank you for sending it to the Cabot Trail web site!

I did find it strange that you called Cheticamp the end of the Cabot Trail however - but I am sure you had your reasons.

    Thanks again!

  • @millicentpeabody Glad you liked it! The trip was fantastic and one I will remember for years to come.

As to the End of the Cabot Trail comment it was only because that was my end of my loop around the trail. For those reading this there is more =). The video primarily focused on the areas between Ingonish and Cheticamp but I assure you that the entire loop is spectacular!
