btw is that a bandmaster vm your playing through if so what are your thoughts of it as a jazz amp?

As for the bandmaster for a jazz amp...... i wouldn't recommend it. Don't get me wrong, its a fantastic amp, but once i got past volume 6, the amp starts to create its own distortion which i LOVE but a jazz dude probably wouldn't. Also since the cabinet is so fucking HUGE it really needs to be played at high volumes to produce a 'full' sound.

The bandmaster is great. It belonged to my dad when he bought it in 72. Its getting a bit old now so it cracks and pops sometimes and the reverb input jack needs replacing. Other than that it sounds great. Although I would love a a Twin Reverb as my next amp.
