  • The crazy thing about the whole Doug Brien thing was that he missed 3 FG's in the final 2 mins/O.T. of the game! OY VEY was that tough to deal with but I guess that's why they're the "Same Old Jets"

  • as a steelers fan? i have HIGH respect for the jets. they are a tough team that fights til the end. next year? they will not be a joke..

  • @crucialconflict02 As a Jet fan, I thank you for your humility and respect but sadly, this year, my Jets are a joke :-( LOL

  • @crucialconflict02

    They were a joke.

  • @siwueofk yes...i know lol

  • speaking of heartbreaking, this game against the steelers made me cry, still not completely over it, damn you doug brien!!!

  • I blame Herm more than Doug Brien.

  • i dont know wat ur thinking, but he missed the field goals

  • You don't know what you're talking about.

I don't have time to rehash the whole thing but everyone knows Herm blew that game.

No one in the history of that Stadium had made a field goal that long -- and rather than run for a couple more yards and get closer, Herm sat on the ball at the end and left it up to him to hit a longer-than-necessary FG.

Don't you read the papers or listen to sports radio?

  • I don't care, the Jets would have went to the superbowl that year in 2004-2005.

  • nevermind the fact the Patriots beat them twice in the regular season and would have had homefield in the AFC Chamspionship game...

you Jet fans are out of your mind

  • Ok I understand that but homefield and beating the Jets twice in the same year don't mean that they wouldve beat them a third time. The Jets "couldve" beaten the Pats that year because the Jets had a lot of momentum and they were playing great in the playoffs until the those missed field goals. They were clearly the much better team than the Steelers in that game.

  • you said "would" have went to the Superbowl. Sorry to say, NOBODY was beating the Patriots that year.

f the Jets still lost to the Steelers and the Patriots out and out blew the Steelers away....what would the Patriots have done to the Jets, beat them by 30?

  • Well the rookie Ben Rothlisbergur threw a lot of int's against the Pats in that game which resulted in a blowout.

The Jets always play the Pats tough so I believe that if they played the Pats that year; win or lose, the game would have been close, but its whatever, it's in the past now.

  • @cuso47 i literally cried, what r ya gonna do were doomed to an ultimate destiny the jets are like a character from shakespeare

  • @mythdoctor haha i hear you bro, someday though, someday...

  • @cuso47 Well we go again this weekend... LETS GO JETS!!!!

  • @cuso47...honestly Im a Steelers fan and I hate that guy also....I wished he would of just made of those damn kicks so I didn't have to get my heart ripped out my those SCUM cheating ASS pats in the AFC Title game.... that was a hell of a game though....one of the classics for sure...when the Jets beat the Pats last year that was GREAT...sucks fo you that the Steelers had to beat the Jets again...LOL

  • Skipped over a few playoff seasons. They made it more than this video indicates. Off the top of my head, '85 and '91.

  • Forgot '81 too, where they finally made it back to the playoffs for the first time since '69 only to lose on a heartbreaking interception to the Bills.
