There was a horse that was rescued and was at my stable and she was dragged by a truck on the highway. (and barbed wire was used to attach her to the truck) I don't know how anyone can be so cruel, horses are so awesome!!! (and BTW the horse is now an incredibly sweet lesson horse!)

People who abuse horses, or any other animal for that fact, should be put through the same torture as the animal had. I just don't understand why people do it!! I mean I get frusturated with my horse sometimes, but I don't go beating her with a crop or a whip, or don't feed her for long periods of time. People who do that really piss me off. Im sorry:( We had just bought my mare (4 years ago) she was so plump:) I thought she was going to have a baby. But no one believed me. When Magic was getting her vet check, the vet said she wasn't pregnant. But, on November 18, 2008. Dawn was born. Sadly Dawn didn't have enough oxygen to her brain. No, she would have lived. But. No one wanted to bottle feed her. Being only 9 at the time. I was underestimated. I would have stayed up all night with her. But because no one else wanted to... RIP</3

i really get pissed off at how people are treating horses. i got so mad that i have one of my friends that is helping me study this all, and we are taking pictures of horses being neglected, being left behind, having welts and open wounds, and stuff, and we are going to have a program and raise money for them to have better homes, be healthy and have a great rest of their life. and we are also going to call the animal control, and them take of this. me and my friend are tired of this crap.

thats disgusting how someone could do that. this wasnt a case of abuse but i know a person who was trailering their horse to a show and the floor of the trailer rotted through. only one foot went through but was stuck there and the pavement took his hoof completely off. sadly he had to be put down but he lived a happy life.

I heard this story on a Habitat For Horses letter they gave me. I adopted one of 78 horses from habitat for horses and it is the greatest horse ever!!!!!! I think this horse died later after years of trying to save him :'( Her name was Lucky Sall because she was lucky to be rescued!!!

i remember going to a round in the city and this girl hit a barrel and she whipped her horse like trying to pop a ballon with a plastic string.. I was dead last on the list... I actually got off my horse askd my frnd 2 hld her and pulled the girl off her horse and took the horse from her. she ran crying to her mom saying wat i did. her mom sed to that lil girl with me standing there aftr wat u did she can have evrything and calld the police on tht lil girl.. she did many othr things 2 tht horse.
