  • Yoni sounds different or more "thin" because he uses a lot of studio tricks on his voice. He's not claiming to be a great singer, but he makes himself sound really good, especially by double-tracking his voice to make it sound more full.

  • is that dosh?

it's tight to see him helping out

  • gonna see them in london tomorrow. SO EXCITED

  • I absolutely idolize this man, and the band entirely

  • i love why. i love why so much. alopecia, i love it.

  • I go to Emo's all the time. I've seen many many great shows there. ended up getting kicked out of Girl Talk before he came on though

  • love this song. but the singer's voice sounds way different on the album. its more robotic.

  • I don't know, if you understand Why? or yoni at all, the essence of it all isn't really in his ability to sing. It's more so his phrasing and the piles of organized chaos behind him. His method of "singing" is more so like a conversation, accenting the verbs that drive the point, and leaving the profoundness to the words and music instead.

  • Thanks. I like his voice, as well, live or not. Almost hypnotic. And slightly makes me believe that even I could sing, lol.

  • i'm going to marry that singer.

  • such a good song. I don't know if I would be performing in a place called EMO's, though.

  • Emo's is a really famous club in Austin. Don't let the name scare you, some really awesome bands play there (its up there next to Stubb's and La Zona Rosa when it comes to notability).

  • even i know about emo's, and i live in sweden.

  • props, man
