This guy El is my biggest lifetime crush! Wow! It has never ended. I remember buying every Right On, Tiger Beat, Ebony, Essence, Jet, People etc....magazines with Debarge's picture on it just so I could stare at Eldra Patrick Debarge. If you all love El you should really check his older brother Bobby who sings lead on I Call Your Name and There'll Never Be for the group Switch which preceded the group DeBarge. Most people don't know that. Bobby's range was much higher than El's and magical.

They were out before the group DeBarge. I remember the day I heard Bobby's voice. It was like an angel fell out of the sky. He would even say that El's range was as close to his as it could get and he encouraged El. His voice was pure gold...effortless. They even resemble one another more than the others.

I love seeing natural talent displayed amongst people that have close relationships. You can see the connection between family members in this video, rather than a "super group" filled with artists that were strategically put together and have no connection. This guy El is my biggest lifetime crush! Wow! It has never ended. I remember buying every Right On, Tiger Beat, Ebony, Essence, Jet, People etc....magazines with Debarge's picture on it just so I could stare at Eldra Patrick Debarge. If you all love El you should really check his older brother Bobby who sings lead on I Call Your Name and There'll Never Be for the group Switch which preceded the group DeBarge. Most people don't know that. Bobby's range was much higher than El's and magical.

@keyshamoonchild Saw El in concert recently and he sang medleys by Bobby (Switch) along with his classics and his new music from SecondChance...It all magically blended!...GENIUS. He opened for MaryJ. I can't wait until he headlines his own concert. I am going again!!!

@eracism09 Hello! I might be telling my age here but you need to check out El's older brother Bobby Debarge of the group Switch. He was the lead singer and had a much higher range than El. They were out before the group DeBarge. I remember the day I heard Bobby's voice. It was like an angel fell out of the sky. He would even say that El's range was as close to his as it could get and he encouraged El. His voice was pure gold...effortless. They even resemble one another more than the others.

I love seeing natural talent displayed amongst people that have close relationships. You can see the connection between family members in this video, rather than a "super group" filled with artists that were strategically put together and have no connection. Its amazing how a whole family can have talent like that and hone it on their own. The Jackson family, the Debarge family, the Osmond family and many more. Who's next?

I swear to god the biggest shock for me was finding out that they were not hispanic. Man you could have knocked me over with a feather with that one. I was especially convinced by the two brothers on the left when they were in the Rhythm of the Night video, i would never had guessed otherwise. Their mom looks like a black hispanic, dominican woman. They are all beautiful and can sing their asses off!....I Love Them!!!!
