I went to Italy last year. I enjoyed every minute of it!! It's certainly one of the most beautiful, magnificent countries in the entire world. The historical landmarks were awe-inspiring, the food was totally delicious, and the people were friendly! I would return in a heartbeat! Bella Italia!

@zucchini2007 I was in Madrid, Roma, and Firenze in November. What wonderful cities. There are many more similar bridges down the Orno River and a wonderful view of them at the window of the Ufizi if you should return.

With all respect, is it safe to be in Arizona, Lower Manhattan, Oklahoma City, Washington DC, Atlanta, or any other place where there have been terrorist attacks in the USA on the past ten years or so? Be careful, be on the lookout, be safe, and TRAVEL my friend! Get out there! I am taking my wife to Portugal and France this year, and we plan to have a wonderful time! Next year, London Olympics, Loire Valley, and Barcelona. Can't wait!

@joesantamaria8lyv Well, I live in AZ, right outside PHX. Some parts of AZ are safer than others...for instance, I'm sure that you've heard of the tragedy in Tucson right now. That was a case of domestic terrorism. But here in the PHX area, it's pretty safe for the most part. I DID hear about 1 college student who was murdered a few months ago, because they took a laptop away from him. I think I agree with you...every country has its safe and dangerous spots, we just need to be careful.

@bellaella16 Yes, I do! Sometimes, I wish I was an Italian man, LOL. But I'm Mexican American, and my native language is Spanish. Which is very similar to Italian. But I'm very happy with my own personal identity, and with all the talents that God has blessed me with.

Who knows? I might marry an Italian lady!
