This is bullshit, I ran out and spend $20 to get this calculator, I had been saving up to buy a portable DVD to watch my spongebob DVDs, but I seen your video and realized I could get the same thing for much cheaper. i think its modded.it isnt actually a calculator. the timing is off when he clicks and when the screen displays is slightly off. The screen is actually some sort of lcd display and it is NOT computer graphics because his hand is moving and the calculator is swaying yet the animation is in the exact position in the frame meaning the animation is displayed ON the screen.

@nexxtech911 Actually, it's computer graphics. I used motion tracking and manual fine-tuning to keep the overlay aligned, and artificially re-added static and shadows to the fake screen (although forgot reflections). Thanks for the comment though, it shows I edited it well. =)

@nexxtech911 Only three to four hours. I was new to After Effects at the time so I was still learning as I made it, which was a few years ago. Now, I could probably make the effect in about thirty minutes depending on the resolution of the footage and the amount of detail I'm willing to make.

1) Use of Adobe After Effects with a Moca track

2) an LCD screen with a remote receiver installed within the calculator or behind it with one of the buttons that triggers the LCD to turn on and receive a transmission of the video.

@TranceMasterXXX i think he didn't use motion tracking. if you look close you can see the weird edge of his hand, so he recorded his hand in front of green screen and then made it move so that it looked more real.
