I eat 109s w/ my spitfire.....of course ive only flown against noobish bots but still...that Spitfire is just about the best plane ive flown..call it a noob plane easy plane w/e u want i love its awesome turn radius...someone gets on ur ass you just kick it left of right they overshoot u or ur on thier ass in less then 2 seconds haha.
would be fun...im about sick of flyin vs bots but I go on Hyper lobby and my ping is so damn high I time out every server or if I do connect my ping is soo high I get kicked off.......the lowest ping ive seen so far is like 170ish.
whether it is historically accurate or not in IL2 you should never turn and burn with a 109 against a spitfire. You may get lucky and come up against a rookie pilot but why would you take that kind of a chance?
Noob fight ... black outed twice (lucky that you were not heading toward the ground at that moment).
Noob techniek against a spit when flying a 109(too much energy bleeding in useless horizontal turns).
You were lucky that the spit guy was more noob than you and didn't use the short turn radius of the spit to evade against an oponent accepting a turn fight against a more manoevrable aircraft.
lacusch69 needs to get his head out out of his butt. in il2 408m on line i always looked for the spits first to get an easy kill in my 109 g2 or f4. ask Skip Holm about the spits. if oleg maddux had the fms right on the spit and 109 nobody would fly the spits. the yaks are still being today for stunt flying. go figure!

I mean that I alway get shot down by enemies, on online dogfights. I can't kill anybody....lol.
If you referred to what 2-DOF means, that's 2 Degrees Of Freedom. The way you look with the head in the video...are you using mouse or track IR 2 DOF? Watch my videos to have an idea.

@CMDRFandragon try Aces High 2, its more ping stabalized and the flight model is better - even though the graphics are the same - IL2 looks prettier.

1. NEVER turnfight (with german planes) against Shitfires! Only BnZ!
2. If you not have another chance, only the turnfight, then use ONLY vertically maneuvers!
