watching this video i just realized why usually men have bad knees when they grow up. Its from riding bicycles, look how his knees are bent while he is standing and riding.
@smoky2004 the bikes need normal MTB maintenance,.. bleed brakes, service forks, or change tyres or rims..etc... on the electronics part is all simple,, if you crash and brake something , just unplug and get a new part.. like a throttle.. or a power switch.. Batteries and motors are seal units and need no maintenance, brushless motors have no contacts pars to change and lithium batteries last for 1500 charges easily.
Up hill the bike holds the speed like a 110 cc. MX
@lestat1753 For those unsure how much mileage you can get from 1500 cycles, it's around 50,00-100,000 miles depending on the quality of cells being used. At first I wasn't impressed by today's batteries, but that's a lot of mileage for a bike, any bike for that matter, gas or not, especially dirt bikes. I'd own two of these if it wasn't for the cost.
@tompenno well, it is not a DH bike,, is not even the future of MTB, or here to replace MTB,, its just another way to have fun with 2 wheels and pedals.. you can use it to get back up the mountain instead of shutelling in cars,.. or to make a XC track feel like a DH track.. you will pedal this bike ( otherwise we shouldn't bother putting the 9 gear VBOxx in it) just pedal at a much faster speeds.
i have to say that is one of thee sickest things too have... until i looked at the price of one! lol seriously you would have to be a mentally retarded rich bastard to buy one of these things so stop wasting your time watching these videos because its just gonna make u want something u can never afford
@lestat1753 It's hit the mark for me, makes sense to pitch it that way, should be doing some local ACT footage also this weekend. I work with the local CORC Downhill co-ordinator, know the guy, be great to see if we can get an e-bike ride together. Stay in touch through the contact details available at my blog..
Nice job on the editing, showcases the bike nicely. Especially liked the lead-in. Would be great to see it showcased on some of the local tracks we have here in the ACT also. Drop me a line when you're ever in the ACT, I'll bring my Fighter..
@QuietRush Thanks.. I wanted to make a video that explain the bike, and try to relate to must people.. not to hardcore riding or fast, just for the average rider... I'm now waiting to get my new Fighter that should be here in a couple of weeks... I'll be going to Canberra to race the DH state series next month.. I'll let you know if I get the chance to bring the EBike... it will be awesome to ride them together...Cheers.
@shorerydr10 Completely agree,... this thing have come a long way from 70 Kilos to 55 kilos to 35 kilos in 5 years... the best is yet to come... and is hard to compare to a standard MTB, I like to think of them in something in between an MX and MTB.
How do you control the electro motor? is it powerful enough to pull you uphill without pedaling? And do you happen to know whether its road legal or they can make it road legal on request? I'm really interested in this thing, but i'll probably use it mostly on flat land and on public roads. not a lot of mountains in the netherlands XD
@UltimatePwnageNL This bike has a throttle like a motorbike to control the speed of the motor, and yes, you can go up very steep hills without pedaling, but if you pedal at your normal riding rate it will do it much faster and save power... The new model has a remote control ( like a car's lock) to switch between street legal and off road modes... just tell them in the factory your country's legal top speed and watts.
@83assasin . Well, I really doubt you will find something like that for that price... but you can always try.... just to give you an idea of pricing....a normal , ok mountain bike is about $4500,...a really good one is about $10000, same as the good road bikes $10000... this is a good mountain bike, and on top of that the best electronic components there are today.... but hey.... I don't sell them or make money with them anyway I just ride...
@83assasin I think the Fighter ( smaller version.... well..,,. the new model coming out now is about the same power ) is about $5500 and the Big Bomber is $7.500 depends on the specs..
Now my issue with this is the footage rarelty plays the strengths of an e-bike. 1. Try filming yourself passing other conventional mtn bikes on an a long uphill ride. 2. The jumps were pathetic... My 9yr old daughter can get bigger air.. Is the Stelth incapable of taking the big hits? 3. More JUMPS, JUMPS, JUMPS!!! Show us these ebikes are BETTER than conventional... All I'm getting from your videos is slightly LESS THAN....
I agree. Coasting down hills doesn't really convince me to buy one of these. How far can I ride up a mountain with it? Will it go 5km in and then I'm stuck?
@lestat1753 o.0 $7500 i could buy a kawasaki zx6r i could go 300km/h with that or i can buy a real dirt bike and 50 kilo's ohr shipping to europe NO WAY DUDE.
but it is a nice bike and its electric so it fills the world with chemical shit instead of co2 whant a nice world we have :)
@giantglory81 Im not building them, but I ride ride all kinds of moutain bikes, and this is a completely new experience,. you realy not expect that, is righ in between a mountain bike and a motorcicle, not one or the other.. and something you have to try for yourself.. of you hook up with the guys from the factory they may get you a test ride in your city.
Top vid. really well put together. Great, clean build too. Would love to see one of these without the weight of the hub-motor on the rear wheel. Thinking in-runner on a jackshaft arrangement with lipo's. Dream build..
Great bike -- also great camerawork and composition.
I suppose that's one advantage of Australia's laws keeping powerful e-bikes off the roadways -- the folks who want to build something beautiful and powerful there end up building it specifically as an offroad machine.
Is the weight different from the old models? How heavy is it? How much of that weight can you feel when riding?
Please stop calling things "pimp" or "pimped". Pimps are nasty people who deal in prostitution and other things. Your bike is not "pimp" unless you have some gaudy gold colored wheels and you are wearing a feather in your top hat and a horrible zebra striped suit.

Great electric bikes....is this the White Stealth ebike that recently sold on eBay for $4,500?
It had my attention @ this price range.
I'll just have to be patient, wait a while, & get a 2 year old for a justified price.
When is a USA factory going to start up...like in S. California? :-)
