  • perfect !!!! thank you for your a wonderful playing

  • Even more gentle than a harp. I'm impressed.

  • beautiful as always when played by you

  • Hi William!

Thanks. Yes, you're right, but the melody in the scroller is by Gounod AFAIK!

    Regards, Wilfried

  • very lovely.

clever of you to make it possible for others to play along.

    love your accent as well.

  • I really enjoyed playing along with you. That was such fun. I'll watch you again just to play along - you made me sound good.

  • Thanks for your nice comment :)

  • Indeed. It's an arrangement by John King (he may rest in peace). He was really good at playing Bach on the uke. You can find some videos from him on YT.

  • thanks :)

  • beautiful played !!!!!!!!!!! nice !!!!!!!!

  • thanks :)

  • Stunningly beautiful Wilfried! 5*!

  • Thank you Baron :)

  • Beautiful. And fun to join in at this end.

  • Imperfection or not...beautiful piece, beautifully played. I have been thinking of putting up a video of Bach's Prelude in C, so you may just have inspired me to do it. Thanks, Wilfried!

  • Thank you, Anthony. Looking forward to hear it :)

    Regards, Wilfried

  • Thanks for your comment :)

  • Happy New Year to you. I would like to play along but I am a beginner on the ukulele and I think it is too difficult for me! I play it perharps in one year then!

  • Thanks Dominique, I wish you a great year 2009 too! The melody part (you can't hear it, but the tabs for it are scrolling below) is not very difficult, but you need an uke with low G tuning! But no need to hurry, I won't delete the video soon ;) Regards, Wilfried

  • Thank you, Wilfried!

  • Wilfried, great performance as usual. But I'm confused by the "Ave Maria" in the title. This sounds like a Bach prelude that I "try" to play arranged by Christopher Parkening. He refers to it as Prelude No. I from the Well-Tempered Clavier.

  • Thanks Mike. You're right. This is BWV 846 from the well-tempered clavier, with a very slight modification by Gounod, who added a melody to it. The Gounod version is the "Ave Maria". This melody from Gounod is shown in the scroller.

    Regards, Wilfried

  • Sehr nett, Wilfried! Thanks and Happy New Year!
