Don't think this film will ver be topped. I hope the Joker does not get killed off and somebody puts in an equaly good performance as Ledger did in the next Batman film. Should be the Riddler, cos I can't think of any other Batman crooks that could be made in to a realistic character like the Joker was.

Well, Heath being dead or not I really like his twist on the joker. I feel he does much better being a twisted freak than Jack Nicholson ever could do. As far as the lead playing the bat, I don't like him at all. I want to hit him with a bat really.
A big majority of the box office sales were due to the publicity from his death. But the reason he died in the first place was because he overdosed. The reason he overdosed is because he was fucked up on pills to play this role. He had enough dedication to play the joker to give up his life for the role.
And it shows. He completely outshined everyone else in that movie.
Heath DID NOT overdose, He took the prescribed amount of 2 diff meds that didn't mix. he was suffering from insomnia and a type of pnemonia. Its likely that he got pnemonia from working on "the imaginarium of dr parnassus" in england where it was cold and he was wet from a scene with fake rain. (the movie is coming out in 2009, he died in production but he's still in it)
it says all this and more in his E biography. Heath will always be my fav joker, alive or dead. he was just better.

Oh for- HE DIDN'T OVERDOSE. He mixed pills that were not meant to be mixed. He took the right amount at the right time, but in the wrong combination.
