@manymen85 I just asked the support where I bought my hydro setup, they sais its nute burn, and it happened after I added 20 liters of nuted water, then realizing I should have added 24 liters for those nutes! add water, they´ll recover fine.
Hey dude, did u find a solution??? ive got the same problem and not sure what to do....what did you try? please help...i will try to flush and use just water from a week or so and lets see how it goes...
It's due to over feeding. It's nitrogen burn. Flush with luke warm water really good for about a day allowing the water to drain all the way then place em back in the room and use just water for about a week. Then use a half dose of nutrients once a week for 3-4 weeks then you will be back on track!
Yo my plants are looking the exact same way.. Feeding them calmag right now. If you're using RO water then it's more then likely calcium, magnesium, or iron deficiency as the RO water is low with these. Hope your ladies are good. Reply back if you found the problem I'd like to know for future reference.
My girls are doing the same :( does anyone know how to get rid of it? I just flushed them & let them sit 2days before I gave them nutrients. I saw some changes as in the curled leaves turning back up but it seems there still browning! Can someone please help me, it would be a shame to see these beautiful things go to waste....
nutrient burn starts with the tips of the leaves burning. not a mottled rusting of the entire leaf !!!!!!!!!! deficiencies cause a variagated discolouring ! Simple really.. if you are using the recommended amount of nutes you will be fine. flush regular if you use recirculating system.... which is why i use the run to waste scrog method. Trust me - google - "rust fungus marijuana" ! dont listen to all these other fools who have probably never raised a seedling let alone pulled off a crop
i read somewhere that the instructions on most nutrients followed by recommended dose = massive over feeding which in turn = irrepairable dammage to plants = low yeild which makes good business sense if youre the md of canna but not if youre growing pot.......solution buy an ec meter and dose correctly and only feed once a week max if growing in soil then if any symptoms occur treat accordingly as symptoms of under feeding are easily treatable and dont affect yeild overfeeding however......
Rust fungus for sure. My plants had that problem before. Get treatment fast and maybe even a dehumidifier if the humidity gets too high. Try to keep humidity between 40-60 if you can.
i strongly disagree that it is a simple nutrient burn, rather i agree with legion2k. this plant is showing obvious deficiency in my opinion. And i would bet that the ph is causing lockout and that is a more likely culprit in my opinion. nutrient burn doesnt cause dark shading around veins. it has some nitrogen burn but i disagree with that being the problem, just another symptom which muds the diagnosis, and actually leads you away from the actual issue. My opinion. PH is crucial.
I need help my plant is 2weeks 4 days old an 1 of the bottom leafs is drying an curling a bit can any1 help? Just search my username in the search bar and my plant is there thank you
i think some people are pushing it with mold, fungus or even potash, Mg, cal..
this looks more simply like a nute burn, and nothing else at all!!
MG deficiencies, DONT Like so... Fungus Dont look like so... Potash Def, or Cal Dont like so.... check up on the GREAT CHART OF LEAF SYMPTOMS..
my guess (good few yrs of exp too_) i that u slightly went over on the feed, simply flush,. hold of all feeding a couple days and re start at quarter dose...
It does look like some sort of fungus- use neem oil mixed as directed. If it was nutes they would be more uniformly burned, with leaf tips browning, and bottom leaves droppin'- hope this helps
there is no possible chance that this is a fungus or a "rust" rust is black leafs and this is 100% a defiency of either magnesium, zinc, potassium or possibly manganese look on this website
This does not look like a fungus or mold. A plant that looks like that should immediately get flushed with three times the containers volume in ph'ed plain water. Then started back up on nutes slowly making sure that the nutrient solution is of the proper ph. Many nutrient imbalances occur when the Ph is off because the plant cant digest certain elements out of its Ph zone.
you said it was bag seed? probably out of a brick..? when I was a kid I had this same problem. pick off as many dead leaves as ya can. spray it at night with distilled water (ph 6) see wbayt happens. or just harvestmade either whensaid tris are asyou milky/ amber as youI can get ema and salvage the rest. good jobto concidering all youI battled!6
Yo....It 100% (Fe) aka IRON deficiency!!! Buy some some solution with high in iron. Mix with good water. Spray the shit out of your plant for 2-3 weeks and she will pop right out of the rust , burning yellowing state in know time. Just a lil FYI.....Master growrer I am....
it is fungus !!!!!!!! treat with a systemic fungicide and check that humidity is not too high - pick off all rust affected leaves and discard so as not to spred the fungi - should have been dealt with at first signs of symptoms - i reccomend fongarid ! - this is not over fertilisation - when this occurs the tips of the leaves "burn" - make sure you are flushing well and measuring the parts per million of your nutrient solution - but this has nothing to do with ferts ! peace
@chr1st1an20061 yep you are right fungus nats. Their feeding stresses the plants and provides an entryway for disease pathogens. The first symptom of damage is usually wilting, followed by general decline of the plant.
@makegoodfood hmm that's a tricky one...if you haven't used any nutrients it couldn't be a nute defficiancy it could be heat stress! depending on the light you are using but im not sure i need info on it!!
im having that exact problem except i was at week 2, using hydroponics and 0 nutes, I bought cal-mag in hopes of fixing the problem but the leaves are continuing to turn brownish yellow and are turning upwards....probably my last hydro attempt to many problems
to much nitrogen. small white/red dots are the first indicator. fan leaves normally show first laterally along veins. you need to base out your soil yo. trim to encourage new growth and use filtered tab water. hold of on fertilizer until new grow shows no systems. or clone those flowers now.
you should see my lowryder #2 plant im about a month from harvest and the whole thing is yellow. it is hydro so i dont want to fuc with it to much besides clipping off the disease yo
@makegoodfood fox farm soil is loaded with nutes so if you are ''feeding'' your clone instead of just watering it you definatly are burning your plant....wanna see a very healthy plant?? check out chronic stories pretty informitive
nute burn and what looks like miteage. flush, then stabilize at 6.3. id say mag def, except leaves aren't curling up and usually exhibits darker bronzing.
Yep looks like nute burn, or possibly ph lock out. Flush and fresh nutes at 3/4 strength. Wont repair the damage done but will prevent more discoloration from appearing.
hey i just transfered my plants to dirt and noticed this happening also.... how do i fix it? First time medical grower, could use any help? dont want to fail this early with bluberry ?
@mighty690am eas your way with the nutrients. some plants are more sensative then others. flush it by watering it with water once a week. make sure no nute buildup. hit me up
Besides the problem nice plants bud! The leaves r burnt. When u hear about burning ur leaves this is wat there talking about. U probably gave it to much nutrients. If it isnt that check the ph. It is one of these problems for sure. Ive had it happened and helped numerous people for this problem and there is no disease that does this so it can be easily corrected. The rust colored spots wont go away where already effected but it will stop the spread and grow like nothing every happened.
I had the same problem. I flushed with water for a couple waterings then decreased my nutes from 1 tsp per gallon every watering to 1/2 tsp per gallon ever other watering.
it seems that you have given the plant too many nutrients. this has caused salt build up on the roots, so the nutrient intake has stopped. this means your plant shows signs it needs more nutes but this is not the case. you need to flush the plant. if you add more nutes, you will be compounding the problem.
low ph. leaf veins are red and should be light green and lush. tops bleaching too much light/heat. use 1 part tap water to 4 parts ro water/ bottled to buffer the ph when u add nutes. plants only drink water at 6.5 to 7.0 ph and eat nutes at 5.5 to 6.5 ph. a static ph is not going to be efficient. set nutes at 6.5 to 7.0 ph as plants drink the water the nutes will concentrate and lower the ph giving you a float. the key is only let them feed briefly then let them drink 6.5 to 7.0 ph
this keeps happening to me too. PH keeps fluctuating to low. Check the PH if is low add water till it comes back up. Also google "ask lucas" some think he knows GH better than GH does.
Put your ladies under a full spectrum induction lamp and they'll pop back in about a day. We have friends bring theirs over just to get healthy. We like the yields of 400 grams p/meter, penetration is around 24", very little heat off the lamps, and full spectrum peaking at 350 and 650 NM. save your ladies peace
I see some damage from thrips (pin holes in clusters) and burned leaf edges from over fert in your atttempt to keep her green. FLUSH soil wait 1 day then very light fert balanced to your likeing and PH about 6.7-6.9 should stop the bleeding and get her recovering
i think its your dirt needs iron check out this video ............. Daphne Richards analyzes yellowing leaves: Central Texas Gardener P.S its on youtube

I have exactly the same problem but with much younger plants. I will follow this and see if I can benefit from your post as well. Good luck. I wonder about overwatering and light quality. One day in the sun made some difference in my plants. Time to go with better light and a reflector maybe.
can anyone tell me for sure that this is? iv got same on some of my plants 2nd week of flowering any help be good thanks
