I don't go in the chatroom anymore as i find it very uncomfortable. They are way to strict, and in my opinion, have to loosen up. When i went in, i got kicked from that Bot like 7 times for typing to fast wen trying to help someone else. I mean seriously. And don't even mention how the people in the chatroom act during "giveaways." They all act like vultures looking for the last piece of meat in the world. And wenever someone wins, they all hate on him/her.

I have a feeling those IRCops, you know, the ones who are kicking people out, are just not paying attention to the live stream or YouTube.

One of those IRCops once asked, "What is YouTube" ?

The people kicking you out the channel are OPs aka Channel Operators. IRCops look after the server in general. Normally ops dont you kick you if you dont follow the channel rules and/or is being a troll in the channel. ChannelOps are people too. Follow Channel rules and you will be fine.

I have always been avoiding chat rooms personally, but when I went to Chris' live chat, was in for a rude awakening.

I forgot to add that it was my '1st' time in any type of a chat room (IRC) and only my 2nd post -- Didn't know the rules the kids were playing by. Let me ask this: Do you talk in a 'monotone voice' level all the time or do you talk 'loud' at times to emphases a point?!?!?! I never had that problem on BBS's. (1980's) It's interesting that I've seen MANY write in caps day-in and day-out and they never get kicked off. I make 2 post and I'm gone!

Yes, but at the same time, typing in all caps is a general rule that people follow, not just in chat rooms, but in forums. Go and make a post in any forum, and people will start complaining about the all caps before anything else.

As for people talking all caps on their, and not getting kicked, you must be seeing something, because they all get kicked. Also, note that about (though not 100% sure) 40% of all of your sentence must be in caps to get kicked.

Here's a tip: When trying to invite people to the chatroom, don't have someone come on and say how you will get kicked out, before you ever get there.

People usually settle in to chat rooms and learn the rules as they go. What a terrible way to invite someone to the chat room.
