alot of people are downsizing regardless of where they live. I think this is perfect for people who have limited money. For example a person can only afford to get a one bedroom but has a child. The person can put there bed in the front room and no one knows it is there and the child can have the bedroom. It also perfect for someone who has more than one chilkd or lives in a studio.
