Music is in its best when it is classical . combo with folk is a bang on . i don`t really know what raga it is i guess its khamaj and a mix of tilak kamod .. i might be wrong correct me if i am wrong .. what ever i just loved the composition by Sandesh Shandilya, who has given us songs like Suraj Hua Maddham . good work listening to it are moments of sheer pleasure.

Ustadji sings well , no question - this particular performance doesnt 'work' so well in my opinion. Something's missing and he's clearly not satisfied.

He could've converted it to a full-on classical style piece, and slowed down the tempo like a thumri and it would've been brilliant .

himu, i know its rag based and if i am not mistaking all ghazals and gheets are rag based unless you know something sherlock.....you dont know what i am talking about so why am i wasting responding
