You got that right. After a lifetime of listening to Otis Redding, Roy Hamilton, Mary Wells, David Ruffin, Sarah Vaughn, and other distinctive, soulful voices, excuse me if I decline to listen to the drivel that currently passes for "music." Not to sound like Andy Rooney, but did you ever notice how unique each of these vocalists--and so many others like them--sounded back in the day? Something has gone wrong with our musical traditions.
