These crazy things are happening not in some abandoned mansion or a space station that would give OSHA fits, but a normal house. The letters were actually kinda creepy too. This could've been a genuinely creepy game about a slow descent into madness. I really hope the author improves.

@azzythehero Dude, the only non-golden age of retsupurae is when they stop making videos. Even they're most dull and pointless videos that they themselves hate are comedy gold to me. I think you should be happy that now we have 2 forms of RP, retsupurae and retsufrash. Though I do admit I wish they would put out some new regular RP videos, to balance the tons of flash games they're been mocking.

The Arrival in Hell or Godlimation vids for example are more interesting than this flash, and the lullaby music also doesn't help Nocturnal Letters any.

She really did TRY not to make it shitty.

Personalliy, I think the creators notes are the worst part of the game. They simply consist of boring, irrelvant nonsense about the creator that no one cares about, and if I was playing (unlikely) I'd be insulted that THAT was the '100% reward'.

Ever since the "God Damn" video they've been more serious and pissed when mocking bad LPers rather than joking around and just having fun which, while it's still enjoyable, it's one of the things that made their older videos like of Cornshaq and FFL2and3rocks more amusing.
@PickpocketSan I disagree. It also seems you're misinterpreting an entourage effect with how Diabetus and Slowbeef themselves can take to lets plays. The videos you mentioned all featured 3 or more lively people together, Slowbeef, Diabetus, Proteus and Shmorky. In very few of the videos post God Damn do they themselves get really anymore more pissed or "serious"(They rarely even are), than even some of their earliest vids solely featuring the two, like the Contra3.or IWBTG videos.

You know, I still don't think this was all that bad overall compared to other horrendous crap they've sat through. The ending was fucked up, sure, but the author was obviously trying to avoid an anticlimatic payoff. Hey, the ghosts could have turned out to be letal viruses with breast cancer that were telepor'ed from the Arise 'verse by Dan McNeely to tell you that you're stupid for not playing Donkey Kong, but they didn't. She really did TRY not to make it shitty.

Personalliy, I think the creators notes are the worst part of the game. They simply consist of boring, irrelvant nonsense about the creator that no one cares about, and if I was playing (unlikely) I'd be insulted that THAT was the '100% reward'.
The story went nowhere, the background images might as well not have been there, it wasn't remotely scary....need I say more?

Ever since the "God Damn" video they've been more serious and pissed when mocking bad LPers rather than joking around and just having fun which, while it's still enjoyable, it's one of the things that made their older videos like of Cornshaq and FFL2and3rocks more amusing.

@PickpocketSan I disagree. It also seems you're misinterpreting an entourage effect with how Diabetus and Slowbeef themselves can take to lets plays. The videos you mentioned all featured 3 or more lively people together, Slowbeef, Diabetus, Proteus and Shmorky. In very few of the videos post God Damn do they themselves get really anymore more pissed or "serious"(They rarely even are), than even some of their earliest vids solely featuring the two, like the Contra3.or IWBTG videos.

I'll give this Flash game one thing: it doesn't do the bullshit "graphics: ivy, story: ivy, programming: ivy" credits so many other Flash games are fond of. She clumps them all together and just credits "myself". Breezy, casual, classy. If only the game could be that way.
