I agree with your approach. some people act like they know everything but the truth is, not everything has an answer. I believe in God. I don't get why so many fights about religion. The bottom line is believe what you want but don't force your believes into others. I say, get an education, study all religions, and then decide whether or not you believe in God. I do but not because of my parents. I actually studied atheism and I agree with certain things, I also studied other religions. As you said religion is all about faith. There is so much that can't be explained any other way. Like the Universe is 156 billion light years across, but only 13.7 billion years old. Space, time and matter all came into existence together. All the matter and energy was concentrated in a spec smaller than an atom. How much gravity would that produce? Not even light can escape a black hole and this was at least trillions of times more massive than any black hole, so how could it possibly expand in the first place?

I'm a Christian but I'd have to agree with your side of the argument rather than VFX. What you said/asked totally makes sense cause the way VFX tries to prove God doesn't make sense. God is spiritual and not physical (at least currently) so it's kinda hard to prove his existence with physical science (there are scientific evidence to back up the idea of Creation based on how the Bible presents it but not God himself) . And yeah, it makes more sense about people believing in God because of faith.

the chances are there are aliens out there somewhere (because there are billions of planets, the chances are at least one other has life of some sort)

Well is VenomfangX 100% confident there is a god? That sounds somewhat impossible on account of how the only real reliable proof christians have that there beliefs are correct is based on the bible. being 100% confident in something that can't be proven is called "Faith." It's what Christianity (as well as every other religon I know of [including atheism] is based on.

Pascal's wager is a logical way of looking at it...but it's not how faith works. You don't REALLY believe in God if you're just doing it cause your odds are better that way.

Thank you for taking a stand against the typical scientisit arguments, were alive and were not willing to accept anything but question constatnyl. Of course its human too and were not perfect but why could hurt even if you were to believe in god it would just guive you more to live for along with more meaning, im taking god into consideration and i pray a few times a week hes anwsered a few of my prayers. I don't get why so many fights about religion. The bottom line is believe what you want but don't force your believes into others. I say, get an education, study all religions, and then decide whether or not you believe in God. I do but not because of my parents. I actually studied atheism and I agree with certain things, I also studied other religions. As you said religion is all about faith. Just be happy with what you chose and let everyone else chose their own path. Great Vid!

There is so much that can't be explained any other way. Like the Universe is 156 billion light years across, but only 13.7 billion years old. Space, time and matter all came into existence together. All the matter and energy was concentrated in a spec smaller than an atom. How much gravity would that produce? Not even light can escape a black hole and this was at least trillions of times more massive than any black hole, so how could it possibly expand in the first place?

I'm a Christian but I'd have to agree with your side of the argument rather than VFX. What you said/asked totally makes sense cause the way VFX tries to prove God doesn't make sense. God is spiritual and not physical (at least currently) so it's kinda hard to prove his existence with physical science (there are scientific evidence to back up the idea of Creation based on how the Bible presents it but not God himself) . And yeah, it makes more sense about people believing in God because of faith.

we're not close to perfect, we're just a bit cleverer than chimps. the earth has had ample time for us to evolve. its about 4 billion years old and we turned up about 100,000 years ago. evolutions not different for humans (it might become different as natural selection doesnt affect us now because we have tech but the juries out on that). evolution doesnt say anything about gods existance or not.

I've been watching Venomfangs video's and although I havn't really been swayed by them, I at least thought he was a rational person who was willing to accept other arguments in order to counter them. However from the looks of his response to you, he clearly is not as rational as he appears, and simply defends himself with blind faith, and total ignorance to any other argument. And, on the subject of "god's rules", I assume that you are referring to the bible and the 10 commandments. There is very little actually morality in the 10, they are mostly about god being jealous. I agree man. Without even bothering to explore and challenge the other concepts in the bible it seems that the MASSIVE fundamental flaw in christian/creationism is the bulletproof evidence of dinosaurs, fossils etc.
Just to take a christian round a museum and stick them in front of a complete t-rex skeleton and ask if they've ever seen one.
Cus I sure as hell havent and I dont think Jesus did either!

dude fossils don't prove jack-diddily-squat. It means animals with a skeletal system shaped like that existed. No fossil would ever be even close to being counted as evidence in a court of law. They just can't be accurately dated. Scientists say so.
