The overall backbone of the story and game play I thought was pretty damn good. Capcom did a decent enough job capturing the grittyness that is Metro City. The problems began to arise towards the end of the game when it suddenly turned into a Resident Evil clone ;( If you can find this game for super cheap go for it, otherwise there are better games you could be spending your money on, and that's coming from a huge Final Fight fan!

you know, the monsters isn't what made the game dissapointing. Its the difficulty and the last 3 or so bosses. The game is too easy and the last three bosses are a pain to fight. You have all these cool counters and attacks yet the only time you really use them are in those pit fights where the enemies actually fight back. The game is good but it could've been great if it had more aggressive AI and better boss battles

At least the final boss kind of gets knocked off a tall building, though isn't he supposed to move there when your close to beating him. This is so so basic. Also why did Capcom USA find it necessary to try and compete with GTA for swearing and Vice?
It was the shit at the time to be all hard and gangsta. Capcom didnt want Final Fight to seem more tame then their older versions and in doing so, made Final Fight Streetwise...I prefer the old FF, where despite all the violence, the characters said darn and heck.

It is because he speed up most of the game moron. If he hadn't it would have taken twice as long for you to watch. The Pestilance fight is one of the toughest in the game. I should know because that MFer killed me half a dozen times trying to figure out how to beat his ass.

I hope someday some company will make a Final Fight Game in GTA Style. What I mean is:
-less firearms and more brawling in fight clubs or street corners (Blood and Bone like)
-Cody, Kyle, Haggar, Guy and some new charakters might do the game good
-Minigames! BUT NOT stomping cockroaches :P I mean Arm Wrestling, Motorcycle Racing, Underground Pit Fighter Tournaments for Cash and Respect.

Speed up is done at video editing stage (to shorten the video). Basically I just fast forwarded the video capture footage.
Like in any game, to beat the bosses just learn their patterns...

I know bison is a badass, but I don't think even he would be sick enough to brainwashed and mutantize people by injecting drugs into their body. He would rather use his physho power or something.

No this game was cool as fuck. The monsters made it a lil weird but the story line was great and gameplay was hella decent.

alien monster things and guys that run around super fast, and they wonder why everybody hated this game? Thanks for calling it final fight, when it had nothing to do with final fight! What we need is a 3d sidescroller final fight!

It is because he speed up most of the game moron. If he hadn't it would have taken twice as long for you to watch. The Pestilance fight is one of the toughest in the game. I should know because that MFer killed me half a dozen times trying to figure out how to beat his ass.

everyone gave this game a bad reveiw because they are retarded and dont know how to play fighting games with counterattacks the whole game is based upon counterattacks and u can beat the entire game without ever using one =)
