  • these horses are known for this gait which has been bred into them.

  • well is neat history.

  • Quikest Foot Fall.mmm... interesting.

  • ok..

  • Hello.I am used to walk, trot, canter. So how do you get the paso to move this way?Like with my horse I would click or cluck and she goes forward.I don,t give leg cues. You understand what I ask?How long can they do that gate?

  • @7466309change This paso fino colombiano, its a natural gait this horses are born witg this capacity thsy are the most wonderfull in world

  • @mangulomosquera yes your correct.

  • @7466309change these horses are trained to gait like that..they cant do it very long its quite exhausting...and long term life of their joints isnt great either

  • @lakota123max oh that kinda sensible.Kinda sad they can not just do it tho.Pretty to see.Oh wounder why someone would teach this gait to the horse if in time it hurts them? What was the origanl goal intention.?

  • @7466309change Paso finos were bred to be farm horses I believe. They can cover a good distance without tiring and they are very smooth to ride, something you want if you are in the saddle all day. As for refining the movement I think some trainers noticed the horses could move their feet quickly without much forward movement. I'm not sure but it fino fino might have started just to see who could get the quickest foot fall

  • @Emura100 so kinda like Tennese Walkers or Plantation horses were bred farmimg for crops checking such as Tobaco or cotton. This you mean.?

  • @7466309change Yes something like that. Farmers would ride from plantation to plantation on Paso Finos and because they were so smooth the riders were not saddle sore after a long day of riding.

  • @7466309change yes precisley

  • @lakota123max Actually that isn't correct. Paso Fino's joints are designed for this movement, they are not trained to gait they do it naturally. And they can go for quite a long time at a corto and make awesome trail and endurance horses.

  • @7466309change You were given false information before. Paso Finos do this naturally. They should not trot but a few do. They can gait for a good while. Now not every horse can do the fino like the horse in the video can. Only the best do that (very expensive horses who are well bred).

  • @Emura100 So for this breed what gate is best for a long ride.?If someone did ride them for hours so not injure legs.

  • @7466309change With any breed it would be at a walk. If you want to go faster then a corto, which is the paso fino's equivalent of a trot. On a long trail ride you want to avoid going to fast for to long and end up tiring the horse out before you can get back to the barn/trailer.

  • parseros estos son unos gringos estupidos y rasista, they dont know what they are saying!!paso fino hourses walks like that (natural)

  • What's the point of a horse putting all that energy into going nowhere - the horse doesn't look as if it is enjoying the experience - having the rider yanking at it's mouth the whole time - what a complete waste of time

  • @wendallan running to stand still the ultimate frontier

  • @wendallan i totally agree with u

  • Very nice horse, though I think he could use a little more Praise as in he does something you want and you reward him with a pat on the neck, it goes a Long way to a horse's confidence.

BTW, Cybelle2006, when a horse sweats and drools, it's because they are helping relieve their body of excess Heat. All horses who a Athletes sweat, even Endurance, Dressage, Racing, Eventing, and Jumping horses. Sweating is not Always bad.

I just think the rider should have praised his horse more.

  • @NekoRinRin when a horse foam with sweat...its because it isnt in condition

  • @lakota123max It means they are working. I've seen horses who are in excellent condition foam up

  • Que el señor te bendiga siempre que buen caballo que dios te lo llene de muchos triunfos son los mejores deseo de elias colombia.

  • How stupid ignorant people can get? before you do any talking you need to know that those moves are natural from the horse this is a paso finon horse suckers, it isnt a race horse, so before you talk you might just do a little reading so you dont look so stupid in front of peole that really knows about this.

  • You both need to take some time to educate yourselves about the Paso Fino breed.

    Very nice horse!

  • You might breed nice horses But you can't ride them. How cocky to say "sets the standard", your certainly not setting a very good standard for your riding etiquette. Try not to wrench your horses head off every time youre not giving it the right aid and it cant read your mind to find out what you want.

  • You are working that poor horse too hard and too long. His breathing is very laboured and his hindquarters are coated in sweat, and he is drooling probably because he is so thirsty. I'd like to make you take tiny steps like that (on your tippy toes)and see how long you would last! And making the horse go on the platform with a loose plank could have hurt his thin delicate legs...how stupid!

  • I invite you to Colombia to take a look and change your mind. Regards

  • that is a fino and that board id called a sound board it is pefertly normal for a horse to do that and dont you even say how do yo know well i have been ridind paso"s for 7 years

  • You Cybelle2006, are an idiot.
