I don't know about Michael Bay, his movies have a lot of action but not much substance. If you've seen the 1st TMNT movie, it is actually pretty conversational, sentimental moments a good story, etc... giving it a balance of substance & action..... its not just never-ending action, that would would be pretty boring and forgetful.

Here is my question. If you want to make the Turtles look ultra-reptilian then I don't have a problem with that. Just continue with that theme throughout the entire design. How can you have a reptilian-looking head and a completely human body design. They look like regular people wearing a turtle-vest. I'll give this a shot because the designs don't look horrible, but I marvel at how Hollywood repeatedly strives at doing the EXACT opposite of what they know the public wants.

Here is my question. If you want to make the Turtles look ultra-reptilian then I don't have a problem with that. Just continue with that theme throughout the entire design. How can you have a reptilian-looking head and a completely human body design. They look like regular people wearing a turtle-vest. I'll give this a shot because the designs don't look horrible, but I marvel at how Hollywood repeatedly strives at doing the EXACT opposite of what they know the public wants.

MICHAEL BAY?!?!!?!? Ok so here's how the movie is going to play out: long winded intro with narration from Splinter, over a bunch of shots of the streets and sewers. You'll get about 20 minutes of a storyline set up then for the next 2 hours, chuck your brain at the door because it's just gonna be endless action sequences.

@Doomange1 No, turtles are REPTILES. However, they are also amphibious; "reptile" being a noun, "amphibious" being an adjective. If you say that the turtles are amphibians, then by the same definition whales are amphibious because they could theoretically "live" on land. If you'd like to embarrass yourself further, please do.
