  • 0:16 - 0:25 Under Pressure lol

  • Freddie Mercury.Brian May..Roget Taylor.John Deacon..you lived up to your name..Queen. Freddie chose this name in part cause it was regal..powerful..something absolute..this is Queen.4 men each a musical genius..masters of their craft. I consider myself fortunate.to have seen them live 3 times..they were amazing.from the first cord..to the first note of Freddie's.clear. perfect voice..you were taken on a musical journey..love this song..Great debut album. This will live on Freddie was a gem

  • I love that little guitar riff at 0:45-0:46. It's really short but I think it's beautiful.

  • when i'm a girl and when was teen my dream was to have this voice...

  • I know it's a cliche, but who could seriously dislike this?

  • brian said in an interveiw that freddie got his last name from this song.

    "mother mercury"

  • @ALVARAD0X

Yeah I read that somewhere too!

  • 3:30

  • I think Freddie was inspired by the poem The Pied Piper Of Hamelin by Robert Browning for few of the words in this song.

"The sparrows were brighter than peacocks here,

And their dogs outran our fallow deer,

And honey-bees had lost their stings,

And horses were born with eagles' wings"

  • Absolutely Beautiful.

  • 19 tears are running down my cheeks: world loves you and always will.

  • Queen rules !!!

    Now and forever ....

  • The beginning sounda something like Led Zeppelin, but song is very "Queen.

  • @ThePokacoolka The beginning sounded just like Deep Purple

  • freddie it's God music !!!

  • Siempre me he preguntado de la portada del album, parece un Freddie pero de los años 77 y 78.

  • @cuc321 yo también he tenido esa pregunta siempre.

  • @SydneyLeopard Si, parece como de los años 77 y 78 pero las luces violeta lo hacen mas de su respectiva epoca, alomejor se inspiraron en la banda mott the hopple con la que habian estado presentandose en el 71 y 72

  • how sad they never played it live. it would be unforgetten.

  • I reckon it would have been pretty difficult to sing this song live...it's so utterly complex...but fucking brilliant!

  • @Bez1960 they did do a piano version on the works tour but just about 1 minute of it and it was just instrumental.

  • @rekoonsghjkl Can this be found on YouTube, by chance?

  • @Bez1960 Yes, yet not impossible for Freddie

  • @soirbenni Imagine how difficult it would be though, the harmonies-

  • but as extended the end they would have a higher level of catharsis

  • very underrated, its an awesome song!
