  • I shock blind dog know where sound ball and he didn't hit the wall or something seem he know where area ..how long he was blind?

  • I love how you taught him the hot/cold method of communication, simply magnificent!

  • Amazing mouth-ear coordination!!!

  • What a wonderful, beautiful dog you have.

  • Wow, amazing, he reminds me a lot of my dog Duke!! (see my latest video to see for yourself, if you'd like) What breed(s) is he? He seems like a very smart dog, you're lucky to have him & vice versa! =)

  • God bless you and thank you for the love you give this little champ....the world needs more people just like you

  • What a Beautiful dog Myron is. What a trooper. This video brought tears to my eyes. Makes me happy to see such a Beautiful dog being well looked after and happy. God bless you and Myron

  • Myron is a star :)

  • love how he tilts his head listening intently for the toss.

  • this dog is like daredevil with his super hearing

  • how cute!!!!! bless you both <3

  • No eyes? It must have developed an incredible hearing.

  • Great video, thanks for sharing! Amazing dog, I love your "cold and hot" system. ;)

  • God bless Myron

  • So sweet =)

  • soooooooooooooo adorible

  • our little baby border collie saffy recently went blind after her immune system went crazy and attacked her optic nerve. she was only 14 months old when it happened, but the worst thing was we thought we might lose her because her illness seemed to be much worse. well she's still with her, she is the sweetest pup and she has learned to cope with everything life has thrown at her in her short life so far. she puts us to shame with her zest for life and we are so grateful that she is still here

  • you can see some footage of saffy on here (look for "saffy's playtime" or "saffy's playtime 2" for the clips) and you will see how happy she is playing with her big sister abbie.

what is would like to ask, though, is whether there are any good stores for things to help with blind dogs? where can we get bells with different tones, perhaps? or balls that make sounds, like beeps? anyone know?

  • @cyman1964uk do a google search for 'babble balls'' these are oddly shaped balls that make all sorts of electronic sounds. Myron loved his when he was young but nowdays he just loves a plain old tennis ball.

  • @Myronsmum thank you. i had heard of these balls - think i will get one.

  • @Myronsmum i got her a babble ball yesterday and she won't let go if it! lol she LOVES it!

  • @cyman1964uk that is awesome! So glad and would love to see a bit of youtube footage of Saffy playing with it.

  • @Myronsmum take a look: www_dot_youtube_dot_ com/watch?v=gV_yAmUqf_c

  • @cyman1964uk I'm really sorry to hear what happened to your little Saffy, but I'm so glad she belongs to a loving family. Thanks for giving her a go.

  • @Myronsmum just like with you and myron, we just adore saffy. there was never really any question about giving her a go. she fought like a trooper in the vet hospital. she'd had a temperature of 105+ for about 4 DAYS. she just wants to live and love. also it is hard for us not to feel sorry for her, but she knows this is her lot now and just wants to get on with it, to play with abbie and to herd our cats!

  • I get very sad seeing blind dogs and other animals, but seeing he's a very talented dog cheers me up again. He obviously has a great home and a great family. Thumbs up

  • Holy shit my cynical heart just broke into pieces.

  • @JabbaTheSlut220175 please be assured Myron loves life and is very happy.

  • @Myronsmum Then let that continue so.

    xxx

  • OHHHHHHH, I know Myron is the LUCKIEST DOG IN THE WORLD to you two as his "Mum & Dad", but still, I have to say I feel like bursting into tears when I look at his face, even though he's as happy as a clam, and couldn't be more loved. You ARE ANGELS to love hm as you do, and GOD BLESS ALL PEOPLE who love ALL animals as you guys do.....including myself and my partner. We've got a dog that we ADORE, and please give Myron TWO BIG TREATS from his friends here in the states, specifically Michigan!

  • How does he smell?

  • @lovelybalnunsharink like a dog and worse when he's wet! lol!

  • Precious dog

  • My loved cocker Brissa (Brezze) got blind last year, and she loves to fetch her toys and to play catching them from her nose, I love her, and I feel, that when I play with her, she could endure everything! Myron is a beautiful dog!

  • My dog Jesse has no eyes, he is the greatest dog :)

  • @Jermiiee what kind of dog is Jesse?

  • @Jermiiee And the worlds greatest hearing award goes to

  • Myron rocks.

  • My dogs going blind in the next few years so I hope she is as happy as your dog is :)

  • were there tumors behind his eyes and they had to be cut out?

  • @TheGamemaster30 Myron was born blind but he got glaucoma and had to have his eyes removed. he was much better off with out them.

  • Beautiful dog.

  • I am sorry if this is to sad or personal but how did he not have eyes? was he born like that or was it an abuser or an accident

  • @RainbowHorse11 Myron was born blind but lost his eyes at 3 months old to glaucoma. Blindness is no problem for our Myron. Thanks for your interest.

  • He's adorable!! And so lucky to have a great mommy!

  • search for "optivizor and novagaurd" in google. The optivizor can be a great help to blind or visually impaired pooches...

  • that dog seems so happy. i love seeing animals that are well cared for regardless of their needs xx

  • my dog just turned blind a yr or two ago. How do play with him like i'll have a plush basketball and i'll say here come get your toy then he will lay down like he is giving up=(

  • @lovepeacesoulful Not all dogs have a love for playing with toys so perhaps toys are not his thing. But All dogs thrive on love and attention so as long as he is with you and you pat him, brush him, tickle his tummy if that's his thing, He will be happy . Best wishes to you both. Also try a toy with a squeeker in it.

  • BEAUTIFUL VID! MYRON IS LUCKY TO HAVE PARENTS LIKE YOU!

  • What a great video. Myron looks happy and contend. He don't care that he is blind. All he cares is "throw the ball mom...c'mon let's play ".

  • I ALMOST CRIED... I have a blind APBT, born that way and people can never tell he's blind unless I blirt it out or they catch him walking into things if they pay attention enough. People are absolutely positive he can see, but its hard believing he cannot. My baby doesn't play with toys, he use to have a sister who played with him but my neighbors poisoned her, so he has no interest in playing that breaks my heart most. Love your Video.

  • Awww this is a wonderful dog :)

  • Lovely video, thank you.

  • yeah hes myron gainez

  • sometimes I wonder if people just go around on youtube disliking videos without watching them just to dislike them. How can anyone dislike this video? Such a wonderful dog and owners.

  • @saltyfrye the answer is yes, they are naturally mean. There is a name for them...TROLLS IT IS BEST TO IGNORE THEM.

  • God bless you for taking care of a dog like that. Some ould not have been as kind.

  • Myron has best parents :* :* god bless you. Cutiest dog Myron :* kisses and hugs from georgia..love ya

  • That is so sweet :) Annoys me that people wont adopt animals from rescue places coz of disabilities like that, just shows they can have the same quality of life if not better :D Wooo myron lol

  • Awesome. I just lost my 13 YO one eyed cat. He was attacked by something as a kitten and when I got him his eye was damaged beyond repair. He never missed it--really was a very active boy. Myron is an inspiration!

  • @Myronsmum This Video made me mist-up. God Bless you. (61 yr old man)

  • Gorgeous dog Myron! He's a beauty and seams he's as happy as any other playing dog. How couldn't he be since he has a gorgeous mum, who's taking care of him and loving him and playing with him? He is lucky and I think you're as lucky as he is... God bless you and your beautiful family, including Myron, of course! Stay this way, don't ever change your beautiful soul.

  • aww it seems so happy... I love ppl who take care of animals like this...

  • truly an inspiration :D

  • WOW....amazing dog

  • It's great to see that with the right kind of owner a dog with disability can still have a completely full and satisfying life.

  • What a beautiful amazing dog and what beautiful amazing people you are for loving this dog. I teared up watching this. I LOVE how you have trained him...hot and cold!

  • My dog Jesse has no eyes to!!! :) he is the most special little guy

  • How did you teach him how to play fetch?! I have a blind Rottweiler puppy with lots of energy and would love to teach her :)

  • @KristinaTsai Myron was always fascinated with toys. I would just toss balls gently towards him. Perhaps a ball with a bell in it would help your Rottie, but Myron just hears plain old tennis balls comming his way. Toss the ball in a way that it bounces a few times before it reaches your dog so he can hear it coming. As he moves towards the ball say "hot, hot, hot" if he heads away from the ball say "cold, cold, cold" in a slower deeper voice. KEEP doing it and he will catch on. We play everyday

  • @Myronsmum, that is beautiful! I will definitely have to try it out :) If you have a facebook you can look up "Nikita (the "unconquered" Rottie)" and that's my girl <3

  • @Myronsmum man, i hate this youtube up/down interface. i misclicked. sorry...

  • you are amazing, there are people choosing by breed and even leaving them in the streets, choosing puppies never rescuing an adult, and you have a blind dog.

gives me hope in humanity, he is gorgeous!so cute and wow, how can he do it!

    i'm touched.

  • oh wow.... :( poor dog......born blind huh..? awwww....how sweet this is...now im gunna cry Lol poor thing...glad he has a great home

  • Good Boy Myron! : )

fuck all who clicked in '' i don't like'' --'

  • @Richyhello hahahhaha... you are funny, dog clearly has NO EYES! Do you think he is looking out of his nose?

  • @Myronsmum he might be

  • @Richyhello, LOL you're an idiot.

  • @Richyhello obviously you are.

  • @Richyhello You're blind.

  • @Richyhello You clearly are you can see the dog has no freaking eyes!! You can also SEE him listening for the ball and then watch him sniffing around for it when she says hot hot hot.

    From Teresa in England

  • Thank you Myron's mom for sharing this wonderful, uplifting & heartwarming video. Makes me hopeful and glad that there are understanding and loving people like you in the world. Where I live (Singapore), a blind dog is as good as a dead dog. In fact, I see perfectly formed dogs totally neglected and unloved by their so-called owners. God Bless You.

  • Yea, Myron! And mom!

  • Dogs fucking rule, plain and simple

  • i think the fact that he was born blind is helping a lot.

a 5 year old dog who would suddenly become blind... well he might not achieve anything even close to this cool dog.

    my 2 cents.

  • This is so amazing! So well trained! Most dog owners will put there dog down if this happened...your truly an inspiration!

  • Thanks so much for that lovely encouraging comment, we love Myron very much and he brings us and the world so much joy.

  • @Myronsmum This is an amazing video and i am very proud there are people like you in the world - i wish every dog owner was as understanding and caring

  • dogs have learned over a long time to let humans into their pack probably for survival. your dog is one lucky dog. i think your love of your dog is outstanding and he shows us all that being blind or whatever else than can afflict us should not stop us from enjoying life. thank you.

  • Myron has been in many magazines including Dog's Life and on Television.

  • the force is strong with this one

  • Nice!

  • makes me think of the dog i saw in Alabama, his dad found beeper balls and frizbees... but this dogs is amazing, understanding momma saying Hot and cold

  • Gorgeous dog. What a happy boy! He doesn't even act like he's blind.

  • Beautiful :)

  • how did he become blind may i ask

  • @0409362016 Myron was born blind but lost his eyes to glaucoma at around 3 months old.

  • @Myronsmum not trying to be rude or anything since my dog was hit by a car and had crooked feet. but doesent hes scare u when he looks at u with no eyes? not trying to be rude just curiose

  • @Myronsmum im sorry to here about your dog.

  • @Myronsmum Thanks for this hopeful video. My dog was just diagnosed with glaucoma and it's scary to think about a 49 lb dog possibly losing his vision.

  • @0409362016 Myron was born blind but lost his eyes to glaucoma when he was 3 months old.

  • you can just see how his other senses are enhanced by not having sight,he is awesome! and you are special for having such a happy dog!

  • Myron is awesome and is just a gorgeous looking dog--what breed is he? Was he born blind? He definitely uses his sense of hearing and smelling to help him locate the ball and he's not afraid to run, which is amazing!!! Cudos to you for making usre he has a good home!
