Now for the Republicans. I think one thing that the correspondent missed out on was the rise of McCain. You could almost feel his rise in the last Republican vote. His ratings have meteorically gone up from 1%-14%. If he carry on like this, it is going to be a 3-horse race for the Republican ticket in which I do not think Guliani would win. Even if it is Romney or McCain, they would give Hillary a good run for her money or even beat her especially if it is McCain.

The Republican do have a wildcard that they are trying not to use right now and that is RP. Even though I do not agree with his views, he would be a good VP candidate for the Republicans. He has a 62% of the vote for voters aged between 21-25 and near negligible for people older than 45. He is the only guy that can get views from the major minorities and the young people. The center and the left would lean more to RP than to any other Republican candidate as VP.

Paul follows the Constitution. The Constitution believes that the states must decide on issues such as Abortion. Have you taken the time to READ the Constitution? The Constitution also states that IRS and Income Tax is illegal. The Federal Reserve is privately owned and is not regulated by the government and charges our government interest on loans. Ron Paul is a classic far-right, anti-government isolationist... picture Pat Buchanan without the shame. His lack of support for the war wasn't based on concerns of morality, national security, etc. It was because he doesn't think the United States should be involved with foreign affairs at all, or hell, even deal with other countries. He supports civil liberties, yes, but only because he sees the concept of government as inherently bad.
