I think many intelligent Americans are aware of this history. Don't forget that the American government conducted kangaroo courts against it's own citizens at the time (the McCarthy trials)of the Shah's instillation. The real enemy here is all oppressive governments. Nationalism is a tool of oppression. We must defend human rights in all nations. The American leadership frequently violates it's own constitution. We are all human beings, everything else is a lie meant to demonize others. Freedom!
