  • watch movies on your ps3 internet browser and download them and stream them you your ps3 all for free. And watch and download on your computer all for free

    spiderpig(dot)biz

  • THUMBS UP IF YOU SAW THE MARIO IN THE BACKROUND

  • PhysX is a scam.

  • Everything was out for over a year and I didnt hear anything extreme except Mirrors edge and Batman arkham asylum which are both btw fucked games. Nothing special in gaming enviroment. Crytek does a lot better than nvidias physx team all together. pwned!

  • Eh, you can lead a blind horse to water, but you can't make it drink...

  • what are you talking about. The specs sheet clearly shows the q6600 as a 65nm part. It's right there. Just look at it.

  • @59summerset HAH, I forgot about you, failtard. Did you learn to read yet?

  • what is CUDA? i have 9800 GT too , i even read the " What's New ? " for the latest update of nVidia

After i update , i don't got any application that writes " Cuda " or something.. i got the card in about July or August 2009

  • Can you give me a link to what you need for CUDA? i have 9800gt. I already have Phsyx®

  • You just need the latest drivers and a program that has gpu acceleration. You usually have to enable it somewhere. There's a video on the NVidia site that lists programs. Flash 10.1 beta uses it now too if you get the drivers that came out 12/4.09. I just saved money on upgrading my CPU by finding out about those programs that use CUDA. I hope Camtasia gets on board because I don't like Power Director as much but now I know PD uses CUDA and it's not bad really.

  • I'm getting the UT3 mod & the home folding (still not sure what that is)

DO I HAVE TO GET PHYSX ITSELF THROUGH DL?

  • Albert useed to be an ATI fan

but now he is an Nvidia's one .. Lool

  • That's why he's cool!

  • What games do have a physx support??

  • the q6600 is one of the first quad cpu's . it can't be a 45nm.

  • @nirvana238 I believe it's actually the first Quad.

  • @nirvana238 Yes you are right its 65nm

  • I had a mess around with the Badaboom trial on my 8800GT, converted a DVD film for use on a 320x240 media player in 12 minutes.

Converts films to their native resolution in 25 minutes.

  • 0:11, MARIO!!!

  • ATI supports Physx now also!!!

  • hahahaha :)

  • it's true, ati does support physx now

  • does the gigabyte 4850 zalman edition 1gb support physx?

  • ofcourse, even my two 3870s support physx

  • physx is newer than havok

havok is only used in valve games

  • You are partly right:

Havok and PhysX are just different physics options for game devs. It's like Coke and Pepsi; they aren't the same, but they do the same thing.

Oh, and Havok isn't exclusive to Valve; It's licenceable to anybody who wants it.

  • Coke FTW~ :D pepsi is for people with coke intolerance~ :D

  • ONLY IN VALVE GAMES??

WHAT!! Havok is used all over the games.. there are even games that use both Havok and PhysX (Graw for example)

Go check havok website to see huge ass list of games that use it.

  • @karcus0 umm, dude i'm not a hardcore techy or anything but havoks been used in over 200 games *including but not limted to valve games*

  • @karcus0 havok is also used in Fallout 3 and Oblivion

  • lmao is physx wow ur dumb

  • ati has havok by default

    nvidia has physx

Until it gets ported or ati agrees to put it on

  • No ATi has no physics acceleration at all. Havok is entirely processor based and works equally well on both ATi and Nvidia.

  • if you want badaboom and how to use it check my vid

  • so if i have a video card that is cuda and phsx ready I won't have to bother getting a physx card from ageia?

  • true

  • Yeah, buying an Ageia card would be redundant. That is, if you already have an 8 series card or above.

  • what about a 8600gt will the physx work with that?

  • If you have over 256mb VRAM you will be fine.

  • what does cuda do>?

  • uses the stream processors to stream videos if your copying a huge dvd to your CPU it uses the stream processors on the video card instead of using your processor its alot faster and better

  • thanks man are u using it right now?

  • no problem

    oh no man i wish!

CUDA is actually all those progroms albert is talking about in this video including the faster streaming videos

  • I'm looking forward to getting BadaBoom eh.. i've been waiting ages to do some HD encoding etc.

Folding on a GPU will be cool too!

  • The HD4870X2 is also out!, fastest video card in the world!

  • that is true...but its a dual gpu card.

    if nvidia say...did a "gx2 280" the 4870x2 would be owned.

the 4870x2 already doesnt score that much higher than a single gtx280.

if im wrong than correct me..show me proof. but nvidia still has physx! lol

  • Take a look dEYOuGngrN8

  • he tested that against a single gtx280...which is a single gpu card.

he tested it against 2 gtx260's in sli and it scored very close to the 4870x2.

now i would like to see a test of 2 gtx280's in sli vs. the 4870x2

yes the 4870x2 is the fastest "single card" on the market at the moment but even if you put 2 4870x2's in CF...still wont be as good as 3 gtx280's in tri sli.

and ati still doesnt have physx.

  • Don´t call it "single card", there is no such thing as "double card" now... well thats unless nvidia decides to make another "monster sandwich".

  • then what should i call it....because in fact it is a "single card" with two gpu's on it. unlike the 9800gx2...which infact had 2 individual cards with one gpu per card.

so this is a "Single card"

and i used the quotation marks to put emphasis that it was one card and not used in crossfire.

but yet the whole point of my original comment was stating that

    ATI DOES NOT HAVE PHYSX

    nor do they have cuda

whether the ati card is faster or not...it still does not have physx haha.

  • GT200 lacks the power to do great graphics and great physics simultaneously. On the other hand, ati will be pushing dx10.1 games through EA, Blizzard and sega; cube map arrays will do wonders for those games. And you don´t have to call something "sigle", its like saying: I´m driving my single car, I´m reading a single book, I´m writing from my single computer... And cuda doesn´t concern gamers, hehe.

  • ok now if someone can grasp my original point

it is that ATI does Not have physx

and i dont beleive i ever claimed that cuda had anything to do with games

i just stated that ati does not have it

and i still want to see the comparison of 2 gtx280's vs 4870x2

    and 3 gtx280's vs 2 4870x2's

  • Ati does have stream proccesing which is similar.

I think they started the folding on gpu

  • also once you put the gtx280s in tri sli it ouperforms the 4870x2 by a mile

  • 4870x2's on crossfire blows out the gtx 280's in tri sli by a mile :)

  • and you save shit loads of money on the way. :D

  • That's not truth morron. With tri sli with gtx 280 you can run Crysis 1920x1200 with 16xq aa with around 30-70 fps, Everything on very high ofc

  • your wrong until ati comes out with better drivers for there 4800 series they will not beat the GTX 280 and im not an nvidia fan boy either i have 2 4850 HD in CF.just facts.

  • and whats ur point your comparing 3 gpus to 4 its like comparing a wuad quad core with a single core

  • More like comparing a triple core with a quad core. Besides a three way 285 sli would beat a quad 295 sli

  • Is an e8400 better than q6600 without OC?

  • The e8400 is a 3ghz chip. So you'd have to compare it to a q6600 oc'd to 3ghz aswell. But then you have to take into account that the e8400 is 45nm fabrication while the q6600 is 65nm. So the e8400 will run cooler, the e8400 is also a slightly more refined architecture. So really you should probably state your question in relation to a certain application or type of application.

  • thx for your reply. I use my rig for gaming only. One more question. e8400 has SSE 4.1, but Q6600 doesn't. will it affect games?

  • Well, for gaming I'd still settle with the e8400, although I wouldn't trade my q6600 for one. I personally find a lot of benefits to quad core, for one, vista is resource heavy and it's nice to know the OS is running on its own cores and the game still has cores free to run on. As for SSE4.1, in real world scenarios there is little to no difference at all. If you want the high clocks, e8400 is the way, but if you want to take advantage of some upcoming titles, go quad ;)

  • mind citing the 65nm core for the q6600. I thought I read somewhere that the q6600 had a 45 nm core. Thanks

  • The Q6600 is most definitely a 65nm part. I'd know, I use one lol. Check my video's, watch in hd, my gaming rig update video has screeners of cpu-z and gpuz.

  • alright. I have a Q6600 as well. Just thought it said 45 nm when I bought it, but it's realy 65 nvm. Thanks.

  • No it isn't, It's a Kentsfield core, both the B3 and the G0 are 65nm fabrication process.

  • @th3d3wd3r Yes it is actually.....

    intel . com/products/processor/core2quad/specifications.htm

  • omfg, you're a little late to the argument. I hope you're not trying to tell me the q6600 is a 45nm part. Because it isn't, it's a 65nm part. As for your link, it doesn't work. The Q6600 IS a 65nm part!!!

  • @th3d3wd3r It doesn't work because you have to remove the spaces... Try again.

  • I missed the space in quad, so yes, your link does work, however it seems you didn't actually read it. It clearly says the q6600 is a 65nm part. Look two lines up from q6600 where you will find it indeed states it is a 65nm part. Try not painting your eyes shut.

  • @59summerset, You've gone awfully quiet. Is it because you realised you can't read? you know, you thought you were right, you went to intels site, you couldn't really read, mucked up, sent me a link that confirms I am correct after you've been telling me I'm wrong. Isn't it funny, how a several month old post still brings out the "I know it all"s. I think you've experienced a reading fail. Now, stop telling people they are wrong based on nothing at all.

  • ive got a q6600 and it is a 65nm part i dont care what the site says cpu-z very clearly says "kentsfeild" "65nm"

  • Ya man the new drivers rocks!! :D Wouldnt be surprised if Square Enix really do decides to make a PC version of FF13 now that would rock the pc gaming world :D

  • Gee.. that cancer thing was er in really good taste. really necessary, not too black

  • 9800GTX overclocked ftw.

  • ill get a skulltrail with quad 280 GTXes and be at the top of the folding at home leaderboards within a month :D

anyone got £5000 laying about that i can have?

  • You can't use multiple 280 GTX with Skulltrail.

  • i know, its only driver problems though. give it a few months for nvidia to get of their fucking fat areses and fix it and skull train and 3 280gtxes will be a lean mean fat inhaling fuck machine!!

  • 3dmarks CPUis breeze now im geussing.

  • Where do you find the UT3 mod and Warmonger I downloaded all 3 of the files Drivers, Toolkit and SDK.

  • i would not recomend an 8600 gt for the physx stuff not a powerfull enough

  • lol 8600gts overclock to 750,2100mem will work fine.

  • yeah but i mean 8600 gt not gts i have the 8600 gt i cant afford anything else right now and it is horrible for ut3

  • Albert you kick ass man ^^. Very informative guy and shit.

  • thx al

  • That Folding@Home thing sounds pretty cool.

  • YAY

    *Dumps CPU*

Muhaha now my vid card does everything for me!

(Not true yet but seriously this is the first step of Vid cards taking over CPUs XD or maybe CPUs will follow the stream processor stuff but we'll see ;))

  • acually the new nehalem cpus might do some graphics who knows

  • holy shit why 1.2 gigs

  • thats if you download all the stuff... you can choose what all you want to download...

  • The actual driver is like 100mb.

The games are few 100mbs.One of them is 900mb.

  • Thx tiger....

  • i thought F@H was already for the gpu xD

  • expect for 9800gx2

  • yeah... anyway, 4870x2 is out too!!!

  • i have downloaded the drivers and it doesnt work good its crap ut 3 crashes the whole time

  • Thanks fr letting me know !

I got it straight away :D

  • wasn't a joke... read up about folding @ home and how fast gpu folding is compared to cpu

  • It wasn't a joke. Folding@Home really does help cure cancer. It let's researchers study protein strands of cancerous cells. Folding@Home is working Susan G Komen foundation to find the Cure for Breast Cancer.

  • wasnt a joke

  • Albert you have the best job ever!

Great video, now if only I had a 8800 or over XD

Maybe my 7950 will sort of run it... just really REALLY slowly :D

  • awsome thanks man

  • YEAH good that i have 8800 :P

  • Pretty cool thks!

  • someone got a download link

  • yeh go to nvidia ya lazy basterd

  • Yeah :) Nvidia is for the rich guys, LOL

  • yah rich idiots that want quanity not quality

  • im waiting for the next nvidia release when ever that is...so i cant use the new uber stuff fkn ati

  • just w8 a few days... its being modded and tested RIGHT NOW over at ngohq(DOT)com to be ported to ati cards

  • pon subtitulos en español por favor

  • does it work on crysis

  • crysis doesn't have physx, ut3 and some other games do though.

  • thnx

  • Thnx for the update man. Much appreciated.

  • thanx for the heads up man

it was 2.7 gigs for everything for me

  • Albert thanks a bunch, even though I hated to see Logan go, your a damn good replacement.

  • ur freakin awesome dude

  • Im downloading it now.

  • awesome albert. dude ur awesome :D

  • nvm ... just click the front page of NVIDIA(dot).com

  • dude so i downloaded it.. got every thing runnin ,, except the game warmonger.. i want it! k so i download the game, and after.. i try 2 start the game up ..and it goes back 2 the download page..and it wont start!!1 help !!! reply 2 help me <3

  • Can u like post the link ?? im doing the cuda which is only 100 something mb .. idk where u get 1.2gb from O.O

  • Hey, someone find me a direct link, I really can't find it, it would be a big help, thank you.

  • google nvidia power pack

    first link

  • we <3 albert

  • sweet thanks for the heads up i will ahve to download this when i get home.

  • Albert Is The Man, Thx A bunch!

  • thx alex, i will try it now :P

  • cool thanks for the heads up albert, downloading now.

  • Tanks i can't wait to use this on my new rigg.

  • Thx to u albert

  • Thanks!

  • do u need nvidia card for this

  • I believe you need a Nvidia PhysX card for it.

  • i runned everything today on my 8600gt.

  • same

  • There is no Nvidia PhysX card though, right? The only one I ever hear of is from Ageia.

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Nvidia bought up Ageia, it's called NVidia PhysX now.

  • Oh, alright. Thanks for that :)

  • Nvidia bought Agiea and now they made it so 8 series and up cards will work as physics cards

  • im gettin it right now..thanks!!!and this guys way chill.. i miss logan.. but this guy is better that that uk guy and shit. he made a video just 4 us,, thats pritty cool, so stop the hateing guys <3

  • And the UT3 maps are old, and heatray is already their its a launch map. And its only 2 new maps also. :P

  • I got it this mroning, its great.

    177.79 > 177.83 though.

  • Sweet! Thanks Albert =)!

  • i cant find it :"( LINK plz :)

  • search nvidia power pack in google, it should be the first option

  • hey Albert.. oZone has a new PhysX Benchy too for when you get it installed...

    ozone3d . net/benchmarks/physx-fluidmark/

  • nvidia sucks anyway for the prize lol

  • Downloading for my 8800GT atm gonna tell you if it works!

  • were is the site to it?

  • nvidia website it should show up when page first loads with that guy extending his arm

  • :D THX

  • xD =o

  • I searched it, but I couldn't find it on nvidia's site. I have an 8400 GT, will it work? Where can I download it?

  • It's an 8 Series, so yeah it probably will.

  • wont work for u, its 8800 cards and above

  • Ok, thx for the info.

  • It's a big flash when go to nvidia site, should work with geforce 8,9 and the newest.. 200 series thing

  • it's not going to work get a better card. why buy a 10dollar card.

  • Stock card...

  • dude

....u can get a 8 series card for like £25

  • YES!

    I LOVE YOU!

but .. for all those with 4850.. wtf they do now?

  • theres a mod for it, you'll have to google it somewhere

  • Nvidia is supporting 3rd parties to port it onto ATi cards. It just isnt ready yet. It makes sense for Nvidia to get it first since, well, they made it lol.

  • its being ported to ati over at ngohq (website)

  • goddamn it!!!

  • when can i dl the new drivers i have a 9800gtx will mine support it?????

  • what IS it?

  • link?

  • AWESOME!

  • cool

  • Kewl.

  • 4!!!!!!!!!
