firstly i am not german i am in fact a british citizen born and bred here in yorkshire. The more I read about the second world war the more I am horrified that as humans we were capable of such atrocities.

Downfall is a deeply moving, haunting documentaion about pure evil. It is so disturbing yet important on so many levels. I just feel that this juxtaposition with the banalities of football is indicative of the careless and capricious nature of the modern world we live in.
