    Trainers are paid to train, its like, a teacher refuses to tutor a kid who is not already a maths whiz. Haven't you seen those documentaries where parents hire ex pros to train their 3 yr old football, golf? tennis?? Unless the kid is athletically a big Stiff or has a body made of glass I think trainers will take the dough and do their job.

    Secondly, they are professional teachers hired specifically to train professional athletes. Your analogy is horribly flawed. Do you think a teacher would rather tutor a retard or a math whiz? Exactly. Professional trainers are paid millions to train professional athletes, not some scrub from the street.

  • nba players practice at local colleges/schools all the time in the summer when they're out of the city their team is on. where else would they practice? school gyms are ideal because they're all privately owned and the players won't be bothered by a rec center member or something.

Is he trying to be Puerto Rican now? I now he has some heritage but for those of you that don't know he had the opportunity to play for the Puerto Rican team but bailed on them...
