The reason for me actually watching this video was because i was reading up on Avatar: The Last Airbender, and earthbending was actually drawn from moves from Hung Gar and it TOTALLY makes sense. It looks very firm and rooted to the ground.
I have a question, after many years I have been able to train myself to the point where my arms can sound like that, but how can I train to make my kicks and steps sound so cool too? Thank you for all your kind responses...
This set is actually an old version of the Tiger Crane form. Other than the distracting sound effects, the practitioner showed strengths, flexibility and proficiency at a very advanced level. Not many can practice it.
nice video very cool demonstration but really the sound effects take away from the speed and hard work this martial artist put into his forms. nice though. thanks for posting
sound effects suck, also there is no need to increase the playback speed of the video, the tension parts and other such things should not be that fast. music is good, form is good, and he does perform it well, but really whoever edited this video should just play the video without any changes.
@TheBloodyHoliday I watched a documentary Dragons of the Orient great film on rare Chinese styles but they speed up the footage and add sounds it's all propaganda that just looks silly. To me it makes the martial arts look like a joke.

Even better with the sound effects lol Love that music from the Wong Fei Hung films
(like the Once Upon A Time In China Films). Whenever I hear this music it's like some real cool action's about to go down!

This person indeed has it all under control and is nice to look at. Can he fight with a professional fighter outside the ring? Who knows?

My friend I'm from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
I really enjoyed your video Hung gar Kuen trained for 6 years without stopping.
It is very rare to see strong movements, rigid or flexible and agile in Hung Gar Kuen.
What is your lineage?
