Technically there is a copyright law stating copyright material (such as a song) can be used in any form of leisure activity (such as watching a Youtube Video) and this is exactly what I do. I make AMVs. Sadly, these videos get denied once in a while because the UGM/WMG decide that they are better than US Law and get pissy because their content is featured in my video. They respond with threats to Youtube. So here we are. How do we get out?

Send a counter-notice to YouTube about this issue ... Viacom is using an automatic program and YouTube delete the stuff just for legal reasons if Viacom is reporting a video about copyright infringement. Same happened to smpfilms ... if things are cleared up the video is back! Check the FAQ of YouTube about Copyright and click on the link for the counter-notice ... then hopefully the issue is solved in a few days. Good luck!
