I like the way this turned out. It's authentic. The way it would have sounded back in the day on an 8 track. All you complainers: you complain because you're used to CDs and mp3s now and the better speakers we have now. This is really how it was back then! Maybe you say "it;s better now"- but this way is more "real".

The original Solitary Man from 1966 did not have a background chorus like the 1970 version. That's the main difference.

How come the sound keeps panning back and forth? AnalogueAudio1985, were you adjusting the settings while you were transferring the song onto your computer?

I have one "Electronically reprocessed for stereo" LP where they do this channel panning trick, although not nearly as abruptly.
