is this sunarmsairsoft website that you bought it from any good??? since its all the way in tokyo and crapp idk if i should trust it..wait what shipping method did you use to buy ur box mag(air mail regular shipping speed or express delivery which is the faster more expensive 1) and exactly how long did it take for you to get the mag??
@airsoftpro808, sorry mate, my memory just isn't that good. This was nearly 3 years ago now. I remember the chap was very helpful, I contacted him direct and he spoke good English. But we got screwed by customs and it didn't work out as cheap. Now the pound is crap against other currencies it may not even be worth doing.
@ruuman wait what do u mean by customs??? i heard that was a manufacturer but how long did it take from submitting the order to arriving at your house??? if u don't know exact please estimate/guess. and where did u live so i could estimate how long it will take to get to my house because i live in Hawaii
@airsoftpro808 Customs, is the UK goverments way of applying import tax on items.
As for delivery, sorry my memory is not that good, I really can't remember, maybe 10days??. I'm in the UK. Your be better asking the supplier, if you desperate for the bits I'm sure they can airmail them priority.
hum, I guess otherwise you could get a mag well adaptor to make it take G36 mags, that might work. Afraid I don't have any real world experience with the MTC
what is the name of the drum mag for the g36c? I am getting a JG g36c and this one would be great for it and it looks nice. Can i get a link to a website that has it? thanks in advance...
srry bout that didn't notice it. I looked that drum up and it looks nice except it uses 4 AA batteries. Im looking for the same model, but one that recharges with wall charger. Do you know of any?
Why would you want one that recharges? The batteries inside are only good for a few hundred charges before replacing. Why not just get 4 AA rechargeable batteries instead? The big advantage to replaceable batteries is that you can get into a game quickly by putting in some new batteries without waiting for the recharge.
sorry about that, I didn't notice it. I looked it up on the website and this one is powered by 4 AA batteries. Do you know of any that have battery packs in them and recharge in the wall? cause those are more reliable? thanks
dude, i just got one of these for my g36 and i have no idea how it works.... it says theres like a pressure switch in the back but it doesnt worke (at least the way im doing it...) i really dont understand what to do at all lol.
hey i just bought a m4 drum mag it got here it has the click button thing but it doesnt plug in anywere.... and it also isnt winding up when i put it on auto i dont know what the hell it up with it any ideas? its worked a couple of times now its not
there's good thing about this and bad thing about this.....good thing is you can hold more bbs and the bad thing is the winding noise will give your position away during a game
hum, I'd say there pretty evenly matched, the folding stock is quicker to stow on the G36, so CQB you'd have a slight edge. also the mags clip together so your changes can be super fast.
The full stock AK can fit a bigger battery so he maybe able to lay down more fire. But as I said there's not much in it.
I fixed it!.. The problem was that it needed to fit further inside the gun for it to lock, there was a small slant of ABS that I grinded away towards the bottom of the receiving end. That gave it enough room to lock in place, and tight!.. no wiggling or anything. Thanks for you're concerns and attempts at helping. I appreciate it!..
Duel Style, fro M16, And it looks like there is wear where the locking should take place on the magazine.. but the gun goes in only half way, the disengaging button stays in half way and doesn't click when I insert the magazine..
hum that doesn't sound right at all, have they sold you the right model?
If it helps I can send you a close up picture of the mag top on my G36 to compare. But if the drum mag top doesn't look exactly like the regular cap mags then it's almost certainly the wrong one.
Yeah, I ordered on of these off Redwolf for my TM M16, and to my surprise.. they aren't that great, I have to hold the magazine up into the gun for it to feed and it deosn't lock well, I'm afraid if I run it will drop out, I can just pull it out without disengaging it.. maybe you guys can help me out?
LOL drum mags, a perfect gift for the spray and pray n00b in your family. Shame RPK conversion kits are so pricey, that AKS would look much nicer with an RPK stock.
Finally people who don't give a crap about accuracy and just shoot the hell out of everything that moves, and also shoots everything that doesn't... just in case!
thanks, he's very tempted, but the kit is so expensive. Were going to have a crack at making our own wooden butts and grips, if that works out well a longer barrel + bipod shouldn't be too hard to make ethier.
Sorry to waste your time, you better hurry back to brokering that middle peace deal while scoring with a million hot babes.... oh wait your just another arrogant twat from the Internet my mistake. Carry on.
well my G36 one was good giving about 200 rnds for each wind, then I broke the spring lug, so I've still got to fix that.
Andy's really loves his AK one, has no problems, but I don't think he winds it as hard as me. Sometime you do get a feed problem that require a shake, but that it, so kind of like a mid cap that never runs out.
Well it was working well before I broke it, I over wound the spring and a small plastic lug broke. I thought I'd fixed it but unfortunatly not. I may do a video of me trying to fix it again. Basically there good, but not too strong.
The one on the G36, what brand is it and how much cap?
Hero Arms?

as far as I can tell the MTC takes M16/M4 mags so no. But I'm sure you can get a M16/M4 drum mag, so that should fit.

did you use fresh good batteries? these eat power.
to check the auto winding, you need to make some noise, try playing some metal loud on your stereo and see if it winds.
Doesn't sound right you got a switch but nowhere to connect it though.

does the g36c drum work on the ak-47???

no, the mags don't fit, it's just the same as trying to use the G36 clips in the AK, there completely different sizes and fittings.
ruuman 3 years ago
IMHO you coudl get yourself the single drum mag for M4/M16 and an adapter for G36C.That shoudl work.

thnx, sweet guns u got there, i love it when adults get into sports like this =D, keep up the good work =), 5/5 for you!
stupidstuntsarefun 3 years ago
did you guys upgrade your gears so that you can shoot longer bursts?
worstedcdogg 4 years ago
nope, both guns are completely stock just running 1100m/amp 8.4v batteries.
Only real problem with long bursts is motor over heating, but weve never had a problem in the last 4 years with these guns.
ruuman 4 years ago
do you think part of that is becuase your guns have version 3 gearboxes?
worstedcdogg 4 years ago
could be, all I can say is that I'm very impressed with both of them.
