Well - I didnt see them at 1st I could only hear them clicking around me. Also, I could only tell that there was something in the water around me from how everyone on the boat was pointing and video taping the water. When I first saw the dolphins - To be honest it was a shock at first. I then thought to myself better dolphins than sharks!. Overall I enjoyed my brief encounter with dolphin pod. It helped break-up the monotony of my channel crossing.

omg that is so awesome ! You´re really tough.
I get frightened by open waters, I can´t even swim in a lake without interacting with panic attacks, but I´m working on it.
Which distance did you have to swim from land to land ?

I swam from Santa Cruz Island to city of Santa Barbara. The distance is around 30 miles
