in more than 70 years the skyline hasnt really changed that much. compare this to ny or chicago sjyline and its pathetic. detroit is a shit hole that looks as if it stopped growing around 1975ish. im born and raised. i went to college about 15 blocks from that terra cotta colored building (wayne state). this downtown and midtown area wrer supposed to be growing by now but then 2008 happend and detroit really started to hurt once again. i dont think itll ever come back. glad i moved to mahattan
Looks "cleaner" in the 1940's but as far as density and massing is concerned... even after the teardown of many hotels and the implosion of Hudson's, it looks better today.
I hope folks in the US of A, realize that most of the most incredible waterfront images of DETROIT, are taken from the southside of the Detroit River, in Windsor, Ontario, CANADA.
WERE GLAD U MOVED TOO! Where is mahattan by the way? wisconsin?

@62reasons And not only that, but Canada is SOUTH of Detroit. Look on a map if you do not believe me.
