The main flaw with the game was the FPS lag. Crytek keeps showing the PC version in their trailers. The game runs at 30 fps, im fine with that. But the fps drop is REALLY annoying. it makes it drop to like 18 -.-, another problem is that stealth ruins the multiplayer. They make it that your heart sensor can't pick them up -.-. Come on Crytek.

Easy. You said it yourself. COD is simple, doens't change much every year. That's why people buy it. It's mainstream, so much people can just buy the game and play it. Unlike games like Dark Souls which surely isn't a game made for everybody.

Now I don't care about whether or not the game stays the same, but what I do care about is that the core gameplay isn't bland as sh1t. Crytek managed to avoid pulling a CoD by adding in the new nanosuit. Otherwise the core gameplay is somewhat like CoD. Which is completely different from Crysis 1. I don't know. Crysis 1 was more of a simulation meaning the set-pieces weren't built as heavily around the pre-designed options. In fact you had more freedom, it's just that Crytek realized most (I'm guessing 4 out of 5) players didn't want to plan a different approach and went with the simplest path - so they dumbed C2 game down.
