I actually like this addon better than the actual campaign in gears 3. The addon has more diverse gameplay and goes back to the more dark and depressing roots that made Gears and Gears 2's campaigns so good.

I like where they are going with this whole prequel thing they should go even further back and cover the very first human/locust engagments where the humans dont even really know what this new enemy is and before the whole "GRUB" term was even coined up and the "RETRO" lancer was the modern day version and we see much younger versions of Marcus and Dom

got a question though. Do they explain why the krill are out in the daylight? Cuz I remember that the littlelest light was needed to keep the kryll from swarming you in Gears 1. Personally as well I liked RAAM better, Skorge is cool but was no walking tank like RAAM. The only reason Skorge is taller is cuz hes a kantus, while RAAM is basically a very badass drone. Also in Gears 3 do they shed more light on the locust cuz wen I get to play it I wanna know about the locust more.

@SkullxKing If you played the campaign, you'd know that the locust was an ancient race living beneath the earth. When that lambent juice stuff started infecting there people they contacted Marcus's father, a genius scientist, for a cure. Sadly he couldn't think of one in enough time so the locust invaded the surface in hopes they could escape the lambent. If you don't know what the lambent is, its basically locust soldiers infected with a montrous parasite that takes over their body

@SkullxKing Very true but RAAM is taller than Skorge, RAAM is 10ft where Skorge is 7ft. I thought Skorge was taller too until I played RAAM's Shadow, and saw how he towered over Maulers, and looked gargantuan to Zeta Squad.

@comperko I don't know man, but Skorge had a double edged chainsaw quarterstaff AND some big-ass Hybrid that controlled a city-sinking worm. But RAAM never backed down and controlled the krill and ost of the Locust army.  Be a good fight

@kevincx8 Yeah but marcus easily cut that quartersraff in half and also Raam surrounded by kryll is pretty much bulletproof yet if he sends those kryll at anyone they rip him appart instantly..Skorge was also much easier boss than Raam.I just think that Raam is much more badass than Skorge

@comperko You might say that now cause you're in the RAAM kind of mood because of the recent DLC but if you got to play as Skorge you'd be saying otherwise. He is way more acrobatic, quick on his feet and his weapon is so much better then RAAMS. Not to mention he is at least two feet taller. Skorge is way better.

@comperko because it took me 45 seconds to kill raam in gow1 in gow2 it took me atleast 5 minutes

@CheSteRBesTeR1 I played gow 1 on casual and gow 2 in hardcore (because it was so much more easier) and I had easier time with skorge on hard than ram on casual...just because it took you more time with skorge doesnt mean hes stronger.... you just had to wait until he attacked you with that chainsaw staff and do counter.With raam you just had to shoot but he was much more harder than skorge.
