When I was on holiday in Jersey a few years ago, I remember I was sleeping on a sun lounger on the greve de leque beach. I was woken up by this guy sprinting across the beach shouting 'dolphins!'. So EVERYONE, and I mean everyone, ran out into the ocean to swim with them. It really was a magical experience. :)
VERY LUCKY!!! Common dolphins by the looks of it! Only seen Bottlenose dolphins and a possible sighting of a Risso's dolphin over here in Jersey, beautiful sight to see i must say! Seen them once on captivity(P..take) Get more of a buzz seeing these guys in the wild, if you have any info of the date etc etc u have seen these i would be interested if you could kindly get in touch... Cheers!

jersey is independent but we are part of the UK UK gives us advise and helps us if we need it but we are mostly independent AND we are closer to France then any were else except the other islands and there are hardly any French so its a good place to go on holiday
I Go 2 Jersey Every Year As My Aunty Lives There && It Is The Most Beautiful Place I Have Ever Seen. Even If The People Wer French It Doest Matter, At Least Least They Are Not Scum Like The People Who Posted Them Vile Comments. Only 23 Till I Go 2 Jersey & I Cant Wait 2 See The Lovley Kind People =) Xx
My dear Guernsey DONKEY, being a pure bred Jersey Bean and very proud to say,I will forgive you for your rude comments you obviously lack any taste and have not yet removed your head from your backside

Yes they were part of the Duchy of Normandy when William the Conqueror invaded England in 1066 (oh will you look at that - England was British and William knew it, the greedy boy; some might say he was just abusing England for his own purposes, ahem) but the people of Jersey decided to stay loyal to England when King John lost his territories in Normandy in 1204. So I'm not sure what your point is.
Those islands are not French. Clearly you do not know what you're talking about. We have been loyal to the crown since 1204 - 803 years and counting. Just abusing them for their tax purposes? Of course. That was the only reason we stayed loyal to the crown for all those centuries - so that some time in the 1970's we could take advantage of a low-tax economy. The fact that you don't realise that it's rarely the Brits using the CI for tax advantages really shows you're full of shit.
I am from Jersey but now live in Australia after spending fifteen years in London. I still consider myself 100% Jersey, although, if it came down to it, I'd rather be considered French than English. The English have a severe lack of class and are reviled as scum around the world
