the one i go to is a touchless car wash, works great, ive always been skeptical about them but they work!

just remember to bring a towel to wipe of the rest of the water.

I was the exact opposite when I was your son's age I was really scared of them especially the first time I been in one. The process took I'd say about three minutes that time but to me it felt longer. I was four when I finally was no longer scared of them.
