@tenaciousd1888 I know from my life--though i was never a neo nazi--doing very ignorant things, that when I remember them the pain I feel is VERY strong, so I cannot imagine what it must be like for someone who has done really dreadful things and then wakes up out of it----the memories when they return can be utterly bad. This is why many people who have been in war and done or seen horrific things go to pieces after wards!! Our minds remember EVERY minute nuance of experience in very deep ways

Your definition of pride may simply be different- you may just mean self-confidence in general. What makes racial pride inordinate is its lack of relevance to an individual's worth. But then again, my paradigm is Christian, and in it all human beings are from the same family, and each have infinite worth. Your paradigm may be different than mine.
