  • Omnibus????

    "LAUDATE OMNES GENTES

    LAUDATE DOMINUM"

    Tout simplement

  • RIP Jo Dellile this song is for you

  • laudate OMNIBUS D;;D hahahah ;D;D

  • very nice =)

  • Laudate Omnibus lol

Lettre L etc. Et voir la partition.

  • Laudate omnes gentes,Laudate Dominum.

    Laudate omnes gentes, Laudate Dominum.

    In Polisch language it means:

    Chwalcie wszystkie narody

    Chwalcie Pana

    Chwalcie wszystkie narody

    Chwalcie Pana

  • Laudate Dominum, NOT Omnibus. Please correct.

  • it`s verry beautiful, and it should be:

    laudate omnes gentes laudate dominum!

  • damn unfunny mistakes...

  • I'm sorry, but text is NOT "laudate Dominus" BUT "laudate Dominum" with the final "m". And is ever "laudate Dominum" and NEVER "laudate omnibus", because the expression laudate omnibus means praise all people.... But here we are praising the Lord, not people! What a pity for these errors... Please correct them.

  • @bioboi01 Actually, "laudate omnibus" means "all praise". People aren't part of the sentence. It doesn't match the lyrics, but the theology is solid.

  • so,so beutifull!!!

  • @meks2003meks: that was exactly what I meant, sorry ;)

  • very nice song

  • It's dominUM not dominUS

  • Lovely song ... One of my absolute favorites.... but BEST249... Could you correct the mistakes??? It doesn't make sense!!!!!

  • the text is not good. it's Laudate omnes gentes, laudate dominum!

  • Galloroemer

  • Takes me home!!! I've been there once and I will never forget it! Thanks for the upload

  • @scottish1193 We sometimes use this as a Palm Sunday processional at All Saints' Cathedral here in Edmonton, AB

  • It should be: Laudate omnes gentes, Laudate dominum, which means: praise all peoples, praise the lord.

  • @HelloLynn123:

Actually, "omnes gentes" is a vocative, which changes the meaning slightly to "Praise the Lord, all you nations, praise the Lord" (from Psalm 117). The thing that may throw off is that you omitted the comma after the first Laudate.

And btw, I love this music - I searched it thinking of international meetings of Taizé I used to attend many years ago...

  • @HelloLynn123

    Yap...you are surely right!!!

  • @HelloLynn123 It's Laudate omnes gentes, Laudate Dominum; Sing praises all you peoples, sing praises to the Lord

  • Question :

should it be a joke, that in 2e time it´s written OMNIBUS ?? not DOMINUS ..

it is 2 times the same :

    LAUDATE OMNES GENTES, LAUDATE DOMINUM..

but not OMNIBUS == doensn´t it?

  • Been there 3 times =) Every time it got better and better compared to the last visit I had.

But yes Taize is an amazing place!

  • wonderful!

  • definitely the best place in the world! I've been there three times, and I think I'll go again this summer. It's amazing, really!

  • I want to go there this summer

  • the best place in the world! have been there twice:-)

  • I'd like to go there!

  • Pardon...

Quelle belle vidéo, quelle musique magnifique, mais...

    Trop de fautes de latin!

(laudate omnibus signifie le Seigneur - sujet - louez??? Laudate omnibus: Louez... à tout le monde? Ca ne veut rien dire!)

    Les paroles sont simplement

    Laudate omnes gentes

    Laudate dominum
