Thanks for this great video that actually convinced me to buy this.

Whether I'll ever be able to fly it like you do it's questionable though:)

It just arrived today and something alarms me. When it's all set and ready to push the throttle, the heli makes weird noises when I just move it with my hand (throttle to zero of course). As if the servos are adjusting or something. Is this normal? Maybe the gyro or FBL adjusting something based on acceleration or orienatation changes?

@aviationboy100 no 3d - if you're smart you can tell by the blades on this one that it cannot do 3d. the airfoil on the blades only work one way. 3d blades are symmetrical in a section view.

@sarsshadow - the D01 has brushless motors, that is why its more expensive! but they are both very similar helicopters! i would go for the d01 coz its Brushless, which would provide more power and better performance :)

@ScootersR4Squirts depends on your level. cb100 is good for beginner to intermediate. FBL systems like the V200D01 are harder to control. If you have no experience get the cb100 or better, a simulator. if you're good with fixed pitch you can try this one. Hope i could help you a little bit. Enjoy flying.

My first 4 ch was the cb180d.i recently purchased the vd120d01.I love this little heli.I dont even fly my 180d any longer.The tail rotor blades and brushless motor makes this heli smooth as ice.My next order will be the larger scale v200d01..

Wake up Tony! A fixed pitch helicopter is NOT "fully collective"...even if the tail rotor is capable of negative pitch. CCPM helicopters use three or more servos on the swashplate for collective and cyclic control. Rudder is not included in the collective swash mix.

Yes it is fast and agile looking, probably more so than my eye hand coordination!. I have a Kyosho Min 120AD 4 Channel, little smaller than that I think and I can;t even hover it yet, starting to feel Copter Challenged!! :) You have any thoughts about how it compares to the Minium 120AD? I can always go back to my lumbering CoComanche! & FMS

damn! that is pretty straight forward flying! I just got my first rc heli from xheli.com too! but its not stable... its pretty difficult to fly! LOL.... and yah i know im an newbie... but I spent around 3hours using the Esky FMS when I got the package...

One thing that I am concern is the flying time of electric Rc helicopters.. I spent 3hours charging and can only fly 5mins? Can the flying time be extended if I get a much better battery cell? I want to fly more! LOL
