The funny thing about the fellow who got packed is that he is a really nice guy and a really good player. He is about 6'2," can jump, and is solid all around. They beat us in three in this match. It was kinda unfortunate that the bad pass/freeball episode created such a memorable moment. It was fun playing against these guys.
Who put the kid that can only get 6 inches over the net to block? Also wrong defensive spot and perfect placed to stand to get creamed in the face. lol
well if he was smart he would have given it to the SAME player but in a more agressive way. would have taken the power right outa the play almost did anyway. ball was close to out
bad position on Defence too.. came in way too close so he had ZERO time left to react to that hit which was, by all means, not even THAT hard. shit happens. i've taken my share of balls in the face (volleybal balls people...) you do somethin' dumb, you pay the price.

It was a bad choice, but it could have been worse. The blockers had plenty of time to move and block, but the middle blocker got lazy and didn't even try. So its the blocker's fault.

He deserved it, started it off with a lousy bump to the setter and then he didn't put the ball deep on the free ball.
