Hey i have several questions, I bought the W-summon materia and the omnislash, but I left the arena to save, and whenever I talk to the women she never mentions the special battle, does that mean that I should not have left when I got the w-summon? and also, in order to engage in the special batte, do I have to have omnislash leanred? and one last thing, you are using epsxe right?

@pedodleche I tend to forget some details like this about games when I don't play them for long, but I believe you might need the ultima weapon along with omni-slash and w-summon. I put that in the description so I think that's all you need. I'm not sure if you need to learn omni-slash, but it's possible.

All i used was 4x cut, ultima weapon, haste, and ribbon with cloud lvl 99. Very easy fights

knights of round+mp absorb...if you dont break materia you can just spam it over and over

ah ah, these battles were a blast....now I am playing Dragon Age Origins, the game has great dialogues and character development, but the battles suck c**k compared to FF 7 or 8

How do you keep Tiny and Toad from working? That's been the biggest issue for me in Battle Arena, and I dunno where I can get big guard from either, I'm trying to pick up Omni-slash

Ribbon. There were 2 of them to get a long the storyline. But I guess you're past that now, so just go down the crater and Morph tonberrys.

OH! Got it last night lol, thanks, I got Omnislash but accidently reset my PSP T_T.... So I have to do it all over and now it feels impossible. You wouldn't happen to know how to work the patches and mods on PC do you?

Why does it feel impossible? This is 1 of the easier things to do if you ask me. Mash square button to stop the slots from going too fast then make sure you don't break accessory and it's easy.

I don't really bother with mods or patches but I think it's pretty simple with patches on an emulator. But so are codes, I think.

Either way, you shouldn't need em.

I'm just an impatient person lol, naw for the mods on PC version I'm playing as Sephiroth, but I was trying to mod the game so I can get the original soundtrack and not midi instead, and break the 9999 limit to make it more interesting

Breaking 9999 limit will just make everything far too easy... But whatever floats your boat, right?

can you have ALL materia combined with 2x cut/4xcut? or how did you do 4xcut on all enemies?

Nope you can't. And really, it depends on what you mean.

4x-cut automatically targets all enemies and attacks them randomly.

Sometimes it'll only attack 1 target and sometimes all of them.

The other thing I had in the video that killed all the enemies is Counter-attack You can stack up a lot of these.

But you can only get 1 counter attack in the game. Do you mean ALL>Counter attack?

No, that's not right. You can get unlimited amount of Counter Attacks.

First off, they come as prices in Chocobo races.

Secondly, when you level a materia to MASTER level, you gain a new one at level 1. This goes for all materias. So you can gain as many as you like.

Oh wow. I cant believe i frogot that :P Thanks for clearing that out. Iam lvl 65. Its the 4th time im playing the game and iam currently in battle square and im gonna try to get omnislash and w-summon.

You should be safe and good to go for any of the prices including Final Attack as long as you have a Ribbon. :-)

But i have never tried chocobo racing. Do you need a good chocobo to get good materia or can you choose any random chocobo?

Hmm... A Wonderful Chocobo fed with a lot of sylkis greens can do fine, although in S-Class it might get a bit hard because they'll have tons more speed than you.

I recommend getting a Gold Chocobo anyway, because it's needed to get Knights of the round and you probably want Mime & Quadra magic too.
